How big of a difference did you feel in hit-reg and latency from the Intel NIC? In games like Valo/Fortnite did you find it significant?

This is really true I just installed my i210 T1 and my latency is way lower over the onboard intel AP... I went from 18ms to 5ms just on the card on my att fiber internet.. I didn't even know thanks for the heads up bro you really are doing a good job with the information. I will be subbing to your discord soon. I will talk to you over there!.. you were on point with the timer resolution also that option is completely useless.,. the only thing that's good about ISLC is the standby list cleaner part only to refresh your memory! If people want lower latency and better FPS on the 1's and 0.1s they should just get BETTER HARDWARE! AND STOP TWEAKING THEY SYSTEMS WITH SOFTWARE TO IMPROVE IT! completely ridiculous! It isn't meant to change timers to begin with!

*UPDATE* I think the I225 T1 ethernet card is much improved these days I bought one of those and I feel like its a little bit better than the I210 T1 so people might want to try that one out

an intel one will always be better. some network cards can use the same chipset as the built in one. aswell the link they sent is not a good link for a network card. i use a 10gtek card personaly and it uses the same chip just on a different board and manufacturer so its cheaper and an actual proper price for the chip used

@@aIt-girl from what it looks like its legit. the writing on the ic matches up with what it should be and the recommended price for the ic from intel matches up with how much i spent on it. aswell the nic wouldnt make THAT much of a ping diffrence anyways on the order of microseconds not miliseconds.

certain on-board nics has poor offloading so it ends up using your CPU which in result takes a hit with your 1% lows and 0.1% lows and even input lag that's how.

I'm not a network guy but it is one thing that you can notice and is when you play the game and the shoot registers faster and you can see them faster than they can see you. Some people tell me that I'm a wall hacking and that is ridiculous. I'm one of the first people to buy one of those cars when they came out in 2008 and at that time works great,but now with fiber you are good to go.

Get i210 for gaming and setup a internal fiber setup when downloading games, two cables at once, the i210 is for the 1% low boost, the SFP+ card for downloading files
