Welcome to The Fab Forums. My name is Kyle Voss and I produce Custom Motorsports Fabrication content of all forms for you. Carbon Fiber, TIG Welding, Metal Shaping, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Custom Choppers, and everything in between. I work hard to bring you new content on a weekly basis.
Here are some of the builds you can find on this channel.
I have built several Chevy trucks on this channel. The first was my 1964 C10 named Crown Spoyal and the most recent C10 truck project was the 1969 I currently have named the Black Pearl.
I am also finishing up a custom twin turbo Ford Mustang build I call the Gray Goose. It’s a 400 cubic inch Windsor style engine with twin 70mm turbos. I am hoping to make around the 1000 horse power mark to the tires on this particular build.
Last but not least is the one off custom hot rod build called the Bibbster. This is what I call a modern day hot rod. It’s made from an old Ford Mustang foxbody, but made to look like an old school open wheeled hot rod.
I also feature other fabricators and shops like Cutworm Specialties hand formed aluminum wide body kit for a BMW e46. Jeb Greenstone has also built a twin turbo, coyote powered model A style hot rod from scratch, and is currently building a Toyota TE72 wagon drift car powered by a 1UZ Lexus v8. Jeb’s custom fabrication skills are fun to watch and always make for good videos.
Check out my playlist to see some or all of these builds.

Well fuck, I'm buying one now, and I'll use your link. I saw one of these from another company but it was like 50 bux, which I wasn't about to spend on a power strip. That's excellent for a work bench.

I picked up a similar one at Princess Auto a few years ago. Canada's version of Harbour Freight. It doesn't have a breaker, my switch is for on/off. It works great. A flick of the switch everything is powered off. Or leave it on for chargers, and unplug what you don't want powered up.

I have three of them, two are hard wired into my electric in my garage, one for each bench and are 20Amp rated. Then I got one like the one in your video mounted to the back of my fab table where I can plug in my grinders, benchtop disc/belt sander and Porta-band saw. The extra outlets and proximity of them helps with the creative process. Great vid!

Serious question for you or anyone else who might have the answer? I'm currently turning my 2 car tandem garage into a dedicated wood and metal shop and like you, I want to have outlets at all my stations. My original idea and design was to run one long conduit pipe across the entire length of the garage and add outlets that way. My question is, why would someone go that route and not add these and daisy chain them? I assume its a cost thing correct? I haven't looked into how much its going to cost me to run the conduit with outlets, but I assume its going to be a fraction of the cost. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
@Thefabforums
@Thefabforums 5 жыл бұрын
conduit would be the appropriate way to do it
@DaCake2
@DaCake2 5 жыл бұрын
The Fab Forums Thanks for the reply. Mind telling me exactly why though? Is it a safety thing or a cost thing? Obviously it will look a hell of a lot better with the conduit. Thanks again.

The 110 circuit that you plug that into is likely rated for 15 amps, so if you're pushing that in the power strip it's probably going to trip the breaker anyway. I'd say you're good to go. I use those for computer server racks because the power conditioner/battery backups I use sometimes only have 1 output plug. They work great.

Hey Kyle. Good to see you bring this segment back. It felt a bit nostalgic hearing those words again.😄 My youngest daughter, Kiera, used to watch a lot of these with me after work on Friday and today is her birthday, so we watched for old time's sake.👍 A couple of those power strips strategically placed in the new shop will be nice. I have a 2 foot version in mine and one of those 30' retractable reels mounted to the ceiling as well. Good stuff, man. Have a great weekend.
