I read that verse two days ago after I gave into temptation, and through you the Lord is reminding me that his door is never closed toward me and he always willing to forgive us of our sins. And when I looked at where I was in 2021 and now, I can't praise him enough for saving a sinner like me. Christ is King.

I just had a realization. When people come to God when they sin, they really do feel conviction and they know they are terrible before God. So they come to God and grow in him. They start to see God helping and changing them to be better, and then they become overconfident. At first they are strong, but over time they don't listen when people say "Stay away! Stay away from Sin, come to God!' they think "Of course I won't do that sin! I am too deep in my relationship with God!" but slowly and slowly, over time they will break and fall into sin. Your conviction was RIGHT, but your pride clouds that judgment. No matter how many levels you are in following God, IT IS ALWAYS EASIER FOR YOU TO SIN than to do GOOD. It's just the truth. Humans are just more likely to do evil and please Satan than to please God. But you know your soul doesn't want that, you know God wants good for you. That's why you FEAR God. Just like how you don't want to hurt the ones you love. Maybe you said something mean, and you wanted to change. YES at first you're doing well and your relationship is growing, but then you go on to judge others, be mean to others in your conscience. Then one day, you lash out at the person you promised to be kind to, and they see that you haven't changed at all. THE ONLY WAY you can truly keep that relationship FOREVER is that if you KEEP YOUR WORD, and the way you can do that is LIVING BY THEM. And the way you can live by them is through God and his mercy. But that would mean you would have to keep that promise with God! The only way you can stop that sin is if you STAY WITH GOD, RATHER IMPROVE PERPETUALLY THAN BELIEVE YOU WILL BE STEADY ON YOUR OWN. JOHN 15:4-8 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. JOHN 13:34-35 34 A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. i have sinned. GOD told me to open my Bible and go to acts, so i listened. i let GOD choose the page and chapter, and so HERE took me to acts 9, where Saul is cursing the apostles. What caught my attention was JESUS saying “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” i needed something, and had just said i hated doing this sin. Praise be to GOD and HIS everlasting name, amen

I really feel like I rejected God for the final time. I had so many warnings, and I ignored them still. The fear is no longer in my heart, and i know that its because of sin. My hearts hardened. And everytime ive tried to repent since falling into a period of sin, i dont believe it was from a place where i genuinley wanted a relationship with God. It was because i wanted to be saved from my sin, but it didnt matter because i just kept falling anyway. And i felt terrible about it each time, knowing what it would do to me. I went a whole year without God, and it was awful its everything people say it is. But now i feel like i cant repent. I feel like i already messed it up because ive become content with my sin.

"the enemy is continuing to try to attack us" ive gotta small story i wanna share abt this, this is when I realized how true this *was* this maybe two months ago now, for the past week I'd been really trying and praying, wanting to get closer to God and was really giving my heart to it, that same night I decided I wasn't gonna give up was when I got on Pony Town (mmo game where u make a pony and walk around its cute) and that night had met someone, we talked and joked abt exchanging photos, with like a 'nah ofc' 'yea lol no' 'but 👀' 'what if 👀' Had literally never done that before ever, I never even had an opportunity to do something like that before yet that night it literally presented itself so absurdly easily Like it wasn't even subtle things like this *do* happen, keep reading your bible and praying so you have the strength to not be tempted like this! You can't do it on your own! for anyone curious, i wouldn't stumble to something like this now I'm so far enough in list hardly comes to my mind now. If you're reading this comment and struggling with this i speak through this comment to you you have the strength through Him in Jesus name ✨
