I'm just going to put it here since Idk what's going on. I think the hashtag is messing it up so # 24DaysofROG My parents led my sister and I on for a year that they were buying us 30lbs of bacon for Christmas instead of the Wii U that we wanted. After opening every single present, there was no Wii U. Then, my dad and grandfather disappeared and came back with a cooler with our bacon. Inside was a wrapped gift. It was a Wii U. To date, it is my single favorite holiday memory ever, and it's a vibe I want to bring to my future family's gift giving. We screamed like that classic N64 christmas viral video lol.

Favourite holiday gaming memory: spending the entire Christmas vacation with my brother behind a single keyboard (one on WASD, other on arrows). You should also mention you can favourite 10 attachments for easier load out building like your favourite optic or whatever, I even use mine to get attachments together to look at the stats and compare what is best without scrolling 10 different attachments and trying to remember the numbers etc. love the academy page can you do more coaching gameplay of people in the community please

I waited outside a Best Buy in a random city to gain access to an original Xbox 360. What's even crazier is that only 20 of us gained access to this sale in the middle of December. It was so cold outside, but we waited from about midnight to about 6 am. What a special moment in gaming history was the launch of the Xbox 360!

Fav memory. Resident Evil, from 1996 or so. In the mansion, tense music playing. You come around a corner and see the back of a crunched downed figure, it fills the screen. Its occupied with something, and then slowly turns his head around. Zombie interrupted in his dinner. That scene made me throw the controller away, and leave the room. Panting hard and my blood pumping in the ears. Got back to it first weeks later! And yeah, I was already a grown up man, back then. 😅

Best holiday memory for me was my older brother getting a Nintendo 64, and just sitting and watching him play Super Mario 64. The next few years were full of me and him playing games together, and getting hooked on gaming. Always look back at that Christmas as my favourite for that reason. I miss those days! Hands down it was the Christmas I played GoldenEye all day with my 3 brothers. It was snowing too so we’d go out and play a bunch, get super cold and rush inside to warm up by the fireplace. Back and forth for hours. Peak childhood memory, it was pure joy!

My favorite gaming memory was a brutally cold Christmas morning. I woke up and waited for a bit to wake up my parents before opening gifts. I opened up a new Xbox 360 and shortly later Halo 3. My 2 friends came over and we all played all day, all night, taking shifts to beat the campaign on legendary. My dad had been playing with us earlier in the day and at 4am he comes in, we all think we're going to be in trouble, but he just sits down and says he's next.... Best day ever.

I was around 8 years old and owned a Sega Megadrive. Knew of an incredible new game being released called Bomberman that I would've loved. It got to Christmas and my turn to open my present; ripped it open with little hope as it was squishy. Opened it to find a lovely jumper which I was happy with, then wrapped inside it was another rectangular present - Bomberman! I remember getting the Playstation 2 at Christmas. My dad had passed away that year(I was 14 years old) and my mom and uncle really wanted to surprise me and my brother with one. They had been looking everywhere for one as they were sold out everywhere. They ended up getting lucky one day that they went to Best Buy to grab one. They surprised us on Christmas with it, and we were so excited! It was really cool, and I always thought my dad had helped them find it. It really helped me and my brother get through that time.

On of my Favorite memories that brought me back to gaming was back in 2001. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty had just come out and it was around the holidays. I had just moved into my own apartment off-base (I was military), and I had a small 15” TV, no stand, just books and my PS2. I played the game for hours from Thanksgiving to Christmas when I was off work. To this day, that game is one of my most favorite experiences because it brought me back.

It was 1992 and I was 7 years old. My parents had told me they weren’t sure how many presents Santa would be able to bring that year (they were hurting on money and as a parent now I can’t imagine how hard that was for them to say to me). But, when Christmas morning came there was a shiny new Nintendo NES under the tree with my name on it. My dad and I played Mario together all day on it. It’s my favorite memory because my dad ended up passing when I was 16 and while my mom and I were sharing memories about him I had mentioned playing Nintendo with him. She told me how hard they were hurting on money and how my dad had been on a mission to get me the Nintendo. He had been working so many extra hours and killing himself at work to make it happen so he was so thrilled to see how happy it made me. I miss him everyday and I’ll cherish that memory forever. I don’t have Instagram so I’m not hashtagging it, just felt like sharing.

My dad bought me all the parts to build a gaming computer for Christmas. Neither of us had any idea how to build one but he figured it would be fun to do together. Favorite memory was all my cousins and I getting a Nintendo 64 and we all got the exact same games and opened up at the same time. Our parents did everything to make us open together

My favourite memory was playing call of duty MW3 after school on the xbox 360, coming home to it felt like christmas every afternoon. Grinding with the boys.

My most fondest memory is playing remnant from the ashes with my dad and brother and the sleepleas nights we got and how much we pissed off mom but it was so fun and worth it because all 3 of us never really connected until after that and it really brought us closer ❤
