Track suspension + race tires is what I normally run with, and fine tune the handling by switching differentials. Some cars work better with a Pro track diff, some cars favor a Super track diff instead. I've been testing this recently with my Mustang Boss, but I have yet to to try the Race and On-road diffs.

I'd like to say that my Evo 9 is a damn rocketship with everything track except for a drift differential. It turns in super smooth and the back end slaps out just a little bit but then the acceleration slams it back into control. Super nice.

I find that some cars tend to oversteer with the Track tires, specifically the M3 E92 and the 488 GTB. I will try Race tyres to see if they make any difference.

AvengerGR_35 I think the 488 just has an inherent penchant to oversteer at high speed. Only tires that get it of it completely are drag, but then you understeer everywhere. What I do is just set downforce to minimum and then don’t apply too much turn input, or go half throttle. The NSX 2017 does the same too. There’s something in the physics that makes some cars grip too much on the front at high speeds.

Btw you should really try the old school Honda Civic. I've been using the i6 with a supercharger and it's faaaaaaast and it handles crazy good. The old Mazda Miata is crazy good too! Porche engine is great on it and it handles amazing! :)

yo hippo, can you make a video on the ford focus? i have a build of it using a 1000hp 4.0l v8 with a centrifugal supercharger and im getting 1.93 0-60 with close to 900 lbs of torque and max speed at 235. its an absolute monster off the line and especially once it hits 200 mph, it gets a fat boost and gets up to 230 really quick, like rsr quick. love the videos btw, and i hope you try this build at some point.

well all of my cars have pro on-road suspension and diff but tires are between elite on-road & elite track, i aim for the center handling "Road" i find it to be the best handling overall.

I've just learned that race tyres exist from this video. You should do a video where you try to beat all the off-road races with a full on road build with race tyres. Unless it's not remotely possible obviously.

Have you tried offroad tires? On some cars i use them and its quite good... acceleration is perfect... top speed is bad. But on some tracks it’s useful. Most important, i like the handling

It is true what you do say. But I believe they need to tweak handling a bit more. Some cars actually benefit with race tires. Rather than track tires because it actually slows you down further. Some car do much better with track while others benefit with race. But when it comes to play style. It well indeed vary but you'll suffer performance from 0 to 60 and quarter mile times. Take the Cayman as an example. That car just doesnt have very good handling. It does not turn Well whatsoever. Which is why I'm starting to agree that grip handling may need a tweak once again. Drift parts also need a tweak since it really causes too much slip for certain cars. And off road seems just fine. But maybe it feels like all cars cant get past 250 while using an off road build.

I have a Subaru STI set up with 290 in an off-road spec (rally suspension, off-raod tyres, rally dif). Just needed an engine swap to help it get up there. I went with the forged flat 4, just to keep it pure, lol. Its at 658/1016hp, with only 2 ultimate parts, 1 elite, 1 super+, and just a sport turbo. It will go 360ish with all ultimate+ parts

@@tano99999 the top speed is a bit irrelevant for almost every car. The average speed is about 380 KMH. But for off road most cars will only get up to 265kmh average top speed. What affects most is the 0 to 60 and QTM. Disregard the car rating and performance bars. You'll need to really go in depth with timing.

i dont mean to be rude but, doesn't it depend on how you play the race. let me explain, als the player (racer) in this case, it doesn't make sense what tires you use are better in any way. the time with each tire is all depended on how the player is racing, you saw at a time in the video that Hippo fkd up the last turn, if he didn't do that the time for the track tires would have been different, and i know that it is theoretical but it doesn't make a difference in my opinion.

steering sensitivity is maxed out and the car still wants to just go in just a straight line. Some cars are just like that which is unfortunate. The evo 9 on the other hand.. turn the wheel just a pinch a your car is ready to do a 360!

The GTR seems ok on all track but the Aventdor is a worthless brick any sharp corner past 200km you might as well quit the race because that piece of shit has to slow to a crawl. I tried showcase and it got delayed shit drifting and couldn't do banked turns at all that's not how physics work you either don't turn at all or you oversteer not both at the same time
