Not only do I use scrapbook paper in my Bible but I also purchase and use the small adult coloring book pages that I can color and use the back to take my notes on. It really personalizes my Bible I feel and truly makes it mine. It truly helps me grow in the word.

I am such a nerd when it comes to everything surrounding the Bible & paper! I have been sooooo hesitant as to putting paper into my Bible. My daughter who is not a believer! She has taken me to occult stores & is tempting fate & my patience...but I have prayed for her & gave that task to God & am walking a path of patience & not do as I do or say....because GOD'S GOT THIS! 2 days ago she asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told her a Journaling Bible. 1 day ago, she got me a mug that says "Never Underestimate a woman who is Caffeinated & Full of Prayer". Breathing in & Breathing out!! GOD has this & I thank Him & prepare my prayers to remind myself that GOD is GOOD! Thank you!!! & Thank you for teaching me how to paper my Bible!!!

I love scrapbooking paper!! Walmart also has "scrap packs" that are smaller little pieces/rectangles of random scrapbooking paper! I love it because there's different textures and patterns without having to buy a whole booklet

I also use scrapbook paper in my Bible journaling!! I also purchased “scrap paper” from Hobby Lobby which has various plain colors. I like to write my notes on these plain pages, and glue them on to my pretty scrapbook paper and put them in my Bible. And then, I have a blank side of scrapbook paper on the other side for more notes. Paired with washi tape, I never run out of space in my Bible journaling journey, and the scrapbook paper is super durable and will last significantly longer than normal printer paper. I also save my extra unused scrap paper. If I cut out a piece of scrapbook paper, rather than throwing the rest of it away, I save it to use again at a later time!

Ever since I found your channel about a year ago I've loved the idea of an interleaved bible, but I need a super giant font, and it isn't available so I have a HP that I use and get al crafty. I carry that with me when I go to church services and also in my daily study. The scripture and spending time in God's word has given me the strength I need to deal with the ongoing medical situation I am having right now. To know that I can bare my soul and my heart in the word and in my Bible journaling helps me with the stress and mental angrish I go through because the Drs don't know what is going on with me yet. I'd greatly appreciate prayers and love your videos! They are my strength to go on when I feel like I can't physically during the day. Your a true blessing to me!

Hey I know this was a year ago so I hope you still find this. You can always glue a blank page in between those that print pages and make your own interleaved Bible. I have the same problem and thought about doing it. Then I seen a video of hers where she glued in a blank page. So it can be done. Your doubling the thickness of your Bible so you might have to have it bound again

I have always written in my Bibles, but I never felt like there was enough room, so (because of you!) I’ve begun taping in extra paper between pages. I take plain copy paper cut in half width wise I started in Galatians since I just finished your course. Lots of extra room for notes because I don’t want to buy yet another Bible that sits on my library shelf because I can’t give up my Bible that I have YEARS of notes in. Howdy, I'm a scrapbooker, paper, collage and mixed media artist. I'm not a wicken, Buddist, wizard, or BJN. I do read, study and Bible journal> I watch all sorts of movies - including Harry Potter, and enjoy looking at the art of tarot cards, and playing card games, like Crazy 8's and 500 Rummy. Hubby and I also like to play MahJong. Some tarot cards I bought and some I inherited from my grandfather, including an antique tarot book - an opera singer and English teacher... So far, I didn't get to that part of the bible that eschews tarot. Meanwhile, love your scrapbook paper divider pages. Peace.

I had put this video on my watch later but it had kept poking at me all day so I watched it. I truly feel that God just wanted me to hear the beginning. I have a similar story as Sarah. I grew up Christian but eventually strayed away and became very deep in new age and wiccan practices. I'm mean, VERY deep into it. Ironically, one of my internet friends that I had connected with on our new age practices years before, reached out to me and shared her testimony and spoke truth into my life. I eventually woke up and burned an insane amount of my dark craft things. A couple weeks later I was baptized and have been a devout Christian since! Your videos have certainly inspired and encouraged me during my walk, especially during spiritual warfare. Thank you for sharing! ❤️

Since I make junk journals, I inspect all papers that I come upon… sales flyers and mailers, gift bags, wrapping papers, wallpaper, boxes, labels of every size, envelopes, paper bags, those small paper silverware bags restaurants use… paper is EVERYWHERE! I love thrift shops, especially their school/office supply/crafts area. Just last week, I found brand new still-in-their-wrappers pink pads of paper with tiny darker pink polka dots for 50 cents each! A brand new roll of wall paper with beautiful scrolls in gold and browns for $1. A rose-gold file organizer (been looking for something “pretty” for my desk top) for $1. And a few more things. My total after tax: $8.02!!! Another great source of pretty scrapbook paper: local de-stashing folks selling their treasures for super prices! And, one last one, ask local folks about their old pretty papers they might have… one lady filled her car with as much as she could and drove to my house to unload what she said was about 1/10th of her papers! It took three people 45 minutes to unload her car and bring it into my house! It’s been six months, and I’m still using some of the last of her de-stashed treasures!!! 💝🙏🏼💝

I save my scraps to make ephemera and they will also work well using them in our Bibles. I get scrapbook paper from Michael's sales, Wal-Mart and I print out digitals, as well as create some of my own with watercolor, stamps, ink and line drawings and acrylic paints. Ooops….one other note for you, as you’ve talked about using different versions of the Bible to improve understanding, I remembered my “Layman’s Parallel Bible”, soft cover & large. Zondervan published in 1973 (yes, I was alive then) and my then boyfriend, now hubby, gave it to me in college. I used it for a long time but stored with my Bible study workbooks (from formal Bible studies with “noteworthy” teachers). 2 thoughts….one, Parallell Bible (4 columns of text on a 2 pg spread with the same passage written in 4 different pages, thru the whole Bible) is another resource for looking up passages for meaning, and 2nd thought about those formal Bible studies that contained a workbook……one could go back through the study workbooks and make notes in Bible that you didn’t do during the study. (Partly because a live or video study by a “scholar” or by reputation, “teacher” , the info comes at you at a speed that is like drinking through a fire hose! Why didn’t I think of this before? You jarred it loose!)

I just watched this documentary on Hulu about Thomas Jefferson’s secret Bible. Using 4 different bibles, he cut and pasted certain passages into his own blank book to only include what Jesus said or did that was not miraculous, to get a non-supernatural perspective I guess of Jesus. But it was interesting to see how meticulous and exact he was with cutting and pasting. Idk how good his intentions were but it was kind of like Bible journaling or scrapbooking

Hi Faith, Thank you for sharing all of this info. Such a great story concerning Sarah coming to Christ. I truly feel that God has placed something in each of us while He is creating us that intrigues us to seek Him. Some paths may go directly to Him and stay with Him forever, while others may take different paths, but eventually end up seeking God … hopefully before it’s too late. I love the idea of using scrap book paper in my Bible. I don’t have an interleaved Bible so I already use sticky notes and tags, but as I transfer my notes from other pieces of paper to my Bible I plan on incorporating scrap book paper by using the “tip in” method that you showed on your channel before. As for buying scrap book paper, most of the time I wait until one of the craft stores has a sale on paper packs or I use coupons from Joann’s or Michael. In my area, Joann’s has the largest selection. I have looked at Walmart, but the location near me didn’t have much to choose from.

I love using digital papers. Can buy a set of 10-50 sheets of beautiful designer paper for $2 or so. I pick one design and insert into Word (word processing) or Publisher and adjust it so it's the size of my Bible. The pattern paper acts as a background. Then I simply add in a text box in a light color (about a inch smaller than the patterned paper) which creates a "frame" from the patterned paper. I repeat on the other side of the paper with a coordinating digital page. That way I can take notes on both sides of the paper for notes. Use thin line of liquid glue to adhere to the gutter of the Bible. It's really not as complicated as my directions sound! Love being able to keep my notes on pretty coordinating paper.

I had scrapbooking paper on hand, that I was about to donate. Then I saw one of your videos, now I use it in my Bible. Hobby Lobby has a large selection of invididual sheets. I buy my washi tape at Dollar Tree. They sell 5 rolls for 1.25.

I love your videos! If you run out of ideas, you could just do little demos of what you’re studying and journaling even if the Methods and ideas have already been introduced. One question… Have you found that adding all the things to your Bible damages the binding and causes it to fall apart?
