smash meter on actually adds so much to the game. It's like suddenly everyone has knockout punch. It can be used a tool to pressure opponents into undesirable options and states. The fear factor of it is wild. That, and also, you might have had a broken character in regular smash, but smash meter on might change things entirely. I'd love to see a tier list for final smash meter smash ultimate.

From my point of view, the Spargo VS Leo rivalry has been closer, I rarely saw one go over the other. While Tweek vs Leo has 2 stages, Leo beating Tweek and then Tweek beating Leo. Here I definitely feel that one is usually superior to the other, with many games of 5, but at the end of the match you can see the difference in level between one and the other. Likewise, both rivalries are very iconic at different times of the game.

​@@Gran_Ove Thats not really true though, at one point the set record was 10-3 in Mkleos favour vs Sparg0 before it started getting more competitive - in the same amount of sets, the set record was 9-4 in Leos favour vs Tweek (or 10-3 if you decide to count a prelocal set where Leo went Mewtwo) Both Tweek/Sparg0 went through the "loses to Leo most of the time" phase, for some reason though people ignore that Leos record against Sparg0 has always been one sided too and most of the time was even more one sided than his record vs Tweek

Last night in coinbox, HBox showed a graphic tweeted by someone. It broke down the characters used in the top 64. There were 6 Steve and 5 Kazuya but only 2 Sonic. That's pretty typical of a usual coinbox anyway. The biggest difference in this coinbox was that 2 Peach also made top 8, which never really happens otherwise.

I think I am gonna agree that meter should be an option at tournaments, however I think the way it should work is that before every match BOTH players have to agree to use it AND disclose what character they will be using. They can still change character mid-match HOWEVER if they do, then they have to re-agree to meter being turned on. This would allow it to be balanced so that only players who feel comfortable with it can play it and that if someone is going to play Peach for example, you can obviously disagree to use it and go back to normal no-meter Smash.

I got an idea for the next smash game. Have FS Meter be customizable. Where you can customize how fast and slow you can gain/lose the meter over Time. And the option to have it pop after a certain amount of stocks lost. Idk if I'm explaining it right, but it could look something like FS Meter: On - Type: Timer - Time: 1-99 min. - Speed: Slow-Normal-Fast *The speed could be based on how much time passes and allow everyone to get Meter after every 1(+) minutes. Or FS Meter: On - Type: Stocks - Stocks: 1-99 -> (or LAST Stock)

I personally feel that seeing Final Smash once per game is more hype. Seeing it too often just takes away from its "finality" if that makes sense. To reduce FS meter gain: 1. Turn on Custom mode 2. Everyone equip the same stat figurine Notes: Stat figurine must have balanced stats to not affect knockback and damage. Stat figurine must be equipped with the item that slows others' final smash meter.
