Is there a simple technique that an individual can employ on the guitar to complement single note melodies, thereby enhancing the overall richness of the sound rather than merely producing melodies that consist of a single note?

Hello and thnx a lot for your visit and question. There are several ways to enrich the melody line. For example adding harmony notes in the line, playing chord tones after a line, bending or sliding notes etc...However, I want this channel to be as simple as possible for the starters on the guitar. People who really want to play the guitar but haven't touched it much. I've learned that a simple melody line is easy to remember and more fun to learn and to play then starting with pattern exercises and more difficult techniques. I have another KZbin channel for more intermediate and advanced guitar playing. It's for the electric guitar and also for the western acoustic guitar.
