I'll never forget my first time to thailand. I was 28; i'd been through a horrible divorce, experienced severe depression after the financial rape i'd endured in divorce court, being seperated from my sons for two weeks at a time killed me. All the usual stuff all you other lads know about all too well. Anyways my best mate offered to go over to Thailand for a holiday, just what the dr ordered he reckoned. I had the absolute time of my life, I came home feeling like a million dollars and life got on the up and up after that. I can really pin point that trip as the catalyst for turning it all around. The land of smiles is the perfect salve for a broken heart.

First time in BK was on a layover. Long time ago. Didn’t even go out. The cool guy running the hotel was chatting with me in the restaurant. Asked me if I wanted a girl. I had heard things and said no thanks. He’s like, what kinda girl you like. I said like that girl rite there. Just a cute young girl clearing tables. He says just a minute. Talks to her, how embarrassing, she smiles at me, he comes back n says, she wants to be with you. I love Thailand

The first time I visited Thailand was 1984... I have spent a few years living there, and I have been back many many times, There is no other country I have visited as often as I have Thailand.... But like you said things have changed... Pattaya was a quarter of the size back then as it compared to today... That bar the Tahitian Queen you mentioned is the only "Original agogo Bar" left over from the Viet Nam war days opened in the late 60s and it is still the same bar interior today as it was the day it opened. I have had a 25 year old "Girl Friend" from that bar every generation since the 1980s though to 2010. So my first 25 year old Girlfriend from the 1980s must be 60 + now,,, Oh dear!!

20 years ago Thailand was beautiful....now its changed. 20 years ago, I was in CM and walking back to my room getting ready to leave that next morning...heading back to USA. On the walk to my room I passed a bar that catered to Japanese men in CM. I saw this beautiful Thai girl named joy sitting outside. We talked and got her number. Left for USA next day. Started calling her and she was calling me in USA. After a couple of years, sold everything and moved to CM. It worked for about 3 months but I moved on and found another Thai girl. Still married to her after all these years. She’s beautiful and I’m lucky and still in Thailand

Love your honesty Ed as I've done plenty of girls from bars while in Thailand and I don't see what all the big hush is about with Thailand vloggers as Thailand does peel the years off you and makes you feel really good about life even if it is all a bit of a fantasy, but sex tourism is also played out by western women that frequent places like Jamaica and Africa, so each to their own for life is short and a freezing winter is long and as the dead farang says ' bar girls can't eat love '. 555

Similar thoughts here, a fair bit younger, not been going for as long, but had thought about it for years. So much fun to be had never forget the first time my friend took me to a gogo bar for a quick look, couldn't help but go back later in the eve myself. The dancer I went with wasn't just good looking but great company too. The other thing there is I'm free to be with whatever type of companion that I want without the open harassment we'd likely get in merry old England, if it was even possible. I still get Facebook messages from myb1st Thai lady. One girl who I saw who was only 22 years old would come around & hang out with me & my lady. Her name was Apple & she was just a dancer & never went home with clients. Anyway I made it my mission to go home with all the available ladies in this bar. So 4 trips over 18 months I kept seeing Apple dancing. So one night she sidles up to me & says "Razza, why you don't ask me to go with you?" I said that she was just a dancer. She said I go home with you. So I paid the bar fine for her & away we went. We were together the rest of the trip. Went shopping, to the movies, swimming, to dinner & lots of sex. When I returned 6 months later the bar had a new owner, the bar girls were gone, the dancers were gone & a loud band was there. Could not hear anything from my friends. I was told that Apple had moved to Bangkok. Never saw her again.

Another fabulous video, I can't wait to make my move to Thailand. The women in America have the same sour face that you describe in England. Cheers Mate.

Thai girls are absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately everything feels like a transaction with them. So I think it's important to separate fantasy from reality when you are with them. Not all of them are like that, sure, but in places like Pattaya, Phucket and Bangkok you are basically a transaction. Just have a great time with them and try not to fall in love 😉

Great video, I went last week to Pattaya for my 60th birthday for the first time. Now i know the meaning of "Ive died and gone to heaven" will be going back again in a few months. wonderful women and people. So much better than western women who are so judgmental.

Great video, mate, love hearing a proper Scouse accent instead of one of those well heeled condescending upper class tour guides telling me nowt but how to fund their Patreon account. Proper honesty in your opinions made this a pleasure to watch.

Great video thanks and I totally agree I hardly ever go out over here. As long as you know the ropes and respect their culture you can’t go far wrong. Just never fall in love in Pattaya 😂😂😂

Great Video. I am much younger than you, however Pattaya is my favourite place. This would never happen in the west. Here, you look at a girl they cry feminism. Can't wait to head back in a month.

Love your attitude. Live and learn. You can't explain to people what Asia is about. They have to live it to know it. I came to Asia in 2013 for a 3 month holiday, i fell in love with Cambodia and a Khmer woman and i am still here. We are married and i now am a teacher. At the age of 57 then i could not of achieved this in Australia. I was considered too old.
