You are absolutely right in what you say about our approach to the Everton game, James. The way we have won the league before is only to think of winning the last game and not even entertain other thoughts. It’s what got us over the line at Tottenham in 1971 and at Anfield in 1989. Arsenal, do not underate Everton. Make sure you are 2-0 up before 20 minutes. Don't hope on West Ham, though they know what to do. Secondly, Mancity have been lucky with Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa in last minute victories. Probably not this time around.

Agree with you both. It's just the scenario of feeling there's no chance and yet sometimes miracles happen. I don't think it will but I'm not laying down until the final whistle goes and you shouldn't either. West ham getting a draw at City wouldn't be the biggest shock in football.

So unless/until scores trickle in giving greater hope, the level of optismism currently residing in my head, won't increase. But football is a funny old sport, so we'll see, just don't wish to suffer from a last-minute 'Ageeuuuuro' soundbite!

Arsenal fan here, north London through and through but West Ham are on the beach. The focus should be JUST be about getting the win, nothing else. As the saying goes, the table doesn’t lie. We dropped points at Fulham and Villa, games on paper we should have got results on. It’s been a positive season but we need a trophy next season or we need think about who can take us even further.

Best Team - Arsenal have lost more than Man City and Liverpool Man City have scored more goals - but Arsenal have the best defence, but that alone does not win you the league plus don't forget Arsenal will come 2nd having not really competed in other English cups
