I picked up that Ferragamo Uomo 100 ml last week at Burlington's for that price... and it's a banger...well worth it imo.... I've layered it with polo red Xtreme too to add a little coffee note to that combo... Would probably work well with Invictus victory too...... thanks for the great review G.👍😎

Yes! Uomo is a hidden cold fragrance gem. And as you said it is awesome to layer with other fragrances that mesh well with its dessert-like scent. I have an oil version of One Million that I mix with it. For whatever reason the oil I have has strong vanilla cream spice aspect to it that turns Uomo into a totally different, but even more delicious scent.

CK Summer Daze 1:17 in the orange box. I like it because it smells super citrusy, like candy tangerine. It’s also mostly organic ingredients which is cool. Doesn’t last long at all, like most citrus fragrances, but I love spraying it on in the morning

Finding Uomo at a rack store is a Coup! I saw them years ago and passed over it. Recently bought this one online for slightly more than you paid. I now have the full line. Signature and Urban Feel being my faves from the line.

Linen Vetiver and Vintage Green will be good in January when we need some help to face the new year. Let's talk about January. A lot of the fragrance manufacturers and distributors were afraid of what the sales numbers would be from Christmas 2022. They dumped a lot of product into the rack stores. That's why we see things in the rack stores this Christmas that we've never seen before. But here is the question: How much of it were they able to move? It will be very interesting to see rack store videos in January and to see what was left on the shelf and how the prices have come down.

Linen Vetiver is probably my second favorite behind 78 Vintage Green. As far as the fresher fragrances go.. Definitely has hints of 78 VG in the opening.. Tobacco and Tonka is excellent as well… They are all nice.. for the price and presentation they are hard to beat.

I smelled uomo years ago. I remember it smelling exactly like Tiramisu. I passed on it then but wished i didn't. I did buy uomo signature and it's a good like for me. But others said they loved it. I feel the original stands out more. The signature is nice leather and coffee but i wouldn't mind something with a bit more oomf.

Surprised SF Uomo is popping back up at Rack Stores, fyi the Atomizer Cap head also acts as a lock to prevent spraying if you rotate it cuz I broke that clear plastic neck pin 👍

I almost picked up a full bottle(own a 15mL) of Linen Vetiver. Almost. Comparing it to Vintage Green? I can see it as an ingredient or even a note in Linen vetiver.. Green smells and pierces like a lemon Pledge soaked tea bag- I gave it way to be used as a car freshener.

I would 100% buy Chrome Pure at 25 for 100ml. Wow. Would have snagged that Ferragamo Uomo as well, that's a good price. Just saying, my Burlingtona suck compared to yours. I think being in Los Angeles is actually a detriment to rack store hunting, too many people and places the stock can be sent back. I have seen Linen Vetiver, as well as Neroli Woods. I actually think Linen Vetiver is unfortunately near the bottom of the Icon line for me. It's clean and nice, but it dies right away. When I spray it on, I can smell it for maybe 10 minutes, then not at all, but then I'll get wafts in the air later on. You NEED to spray this on clothes, it's a laundry scent anyway. It's a waste on skin. Ferragamo Uomo is very nice. It's an Alberto Morillas gourmand, I don't know how anyone could expect it to miss. People say it smells like Tiramisu, I don't know enough what that particular dessert it supposed to smell like, but it does smell like a dessert for sure.

My racks were just chaos over the weekend I vowed not to return. Like, ever. But I will if Uomo is in the offing. The original is the one that sounds best to me. For cinnamon and leather I’m sure there are alternatives, but for tiramisu and coffee? Seriously? Bring it on. I have patiently waited for Linen Vetiver, Neroli Woods and Cypress Cedar to work their magic on me. And they have not. I expected so much more from LV.it seems very plain, and I don’t happen to get linen or Vetiver in mine. I think they are made in a different place now (France) than a couple years ago, so maybe it’s different. In fact, I owned the entire Icon line at one point, and the only ones I wear are Vintage Green and Oud Mosaic. For one thing, there’s a weird ingredient in the Icon line that disagrees with me. I think it’s a stabilizer or the perfumers alcohol, because it bothers me in almost every fragrance they make. Anyway, Gerard, willing to send you Neroli Woods and Cypress Cedar if you like. I feel kinda bad for you. Your Celtics just can’t compete with my Dubs. Unlike Orlando, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Utah and others that beat us like drum lol. Keep up the good work “Rack Store King”!

You're one of the few that picked up on that boozy quality in Uomo! I get a distinct cherry in the mid too. Much prefer the original over the Signature flanker myself. The older bottles are probably nuclear by now. Mine certainly is. Great performance to start off with, but after years of sitting around....yeah. Heads and tails above Halloween Man X for me.

Any of the SF Uomo line are worth a grab…. You don’t see them in rack stores like in years past. You could find the entire line in rack stores about 3-4 years ago. Urban Feel is an incensie blue fragrance (think Dylan Blue and BdC but with a twist. It’s easily better then DB and I think better then BdC edt…) Casual Life is a sweet, playful violet leaf scent… Fresh and sweet… something you could wear year round. I do like it. They all have a coffee note… Which you pick up more in the original Uomo and Uomo Signature. But… Once you know that coffee is in UF and CL, you definitely can tell it’s playing a part in the scents dna. Great cheapie line.. I panic bought a 100ml of Uomo Signature after going through a 30ml.. A couple of the online discounters didn’t have it for a long time and we started to hear the ol “discontinued talk” going around.. I enjoy it that much that after months of not seeing it at those specific sellers, I just bought a bottle from Nordstrom. Of course 4-6 months later it popped back up at discounters for $50-$60/100ml…. But I don’t regret it. That’s my SF Uomo story… lol.

Really cool finds. Love the content. Bur I was never a big fan of the reem rack store fragrances, even tho I have used the term as well. The reason why is because I feel rack fragrance does nor always speak the truth. Rack sounds as if the burlington, tj maxx, ross or even walmart has always been the idea or type of store tht carried said fragrance. Like creamo for example. But tht is just not true. 10 years ago I worked in Macys. We used to have a xmas commercial that had martha stewart, Trump, Usher, Hillfiger,Diddy and other celebs tht had their products in macya on this commercial. On my break I would go to the mens cologne area and test usher or 3am ect. Whn I was a kid and lives in Seattle I would get test of Eternity, polo sport, or obssession frm Bon Marche or Nordstroms. These were not considered rack back thn and were expensive for its time. Higher end. Later I would go in the mall to Hollister. Tht was not looked at as cheap. Not like today. With so many options and better quality today and just things got old or outdated said fragrance moved to a rack store. But it did not start tht way. Much like the good finds in this vid. So we should not be all the way shocked tht these great finds now are in rack stores now. At one time alot of rack today it was not considered "rack" then and was quality for its time.

Jaye thank you so much for sharing your experience. Although the term “rack store” isn’t ideal. Many of the fragrances I would consider great fragrances that are a fantastic deals. With that being said in some instances I would probably pay more for them but the reality is we don’t need to with both online and brick and mortar discounters. I agree with you though and appreciate your take on it.
