I must have been like five years old when I first saw a documentary about baby turtles hatching and racing for the ocean, and this first impression has never ever abandoned me (FYI, I’m currently 55). Call me a ridiculous eejit softie but I indeed shed some tears while watching this video... And Tim is a wonderful presenter, better to say more than a simple “presenter”, he is committed heart and soul to any critter in need - not only fluffy cutey koalas but snakes, froggies and crocs as well. Thank you so very much indeed for this experience, quite probably I will never be able to visit Australia, but your wonderful videos bring the experience back to my European home. Thank you again, you’re a wonderful crew.

Bluey's re-homing is fascinating. Tim knows so much about crocodiles and treats them with kindness as if they were best friends. Once roped, Bluey is loaded on to a soft mattress - great video !!!

I can't believe only 1 in 1000 survive! Why isn't there something that can be done to make sure more then this live? This was incredible!!!

It’s the natural way of life. Though I agree, lots of them dying are caused by humans, so if there was a way to stop the human impact, I would be all for it. But I wouldn’t agree if you tried to stop predators eating them, although I don’t think that’s what you were hinting at?

Wonderful. I love the respect and reverence Tim shows for both monster cross and helpless baby turtles.

I love how excited Tim gets. Those little babies were determined to get to the water but it's sad that only 1 in a 1000 make it to adults. Either way some do and return to lay their eggs. 🙂❤

I like the Bondi Vet episodes, but I seriously get the feeling I'm beginning to see the same stuff AT LEAST 3 times in "different formats" which I would find disappointing if that's happening. I think I've seen the same baby sea turtles hatch four times by now? Please don't try to re-use your footage too much even if that means that this channel can't upload on every single uploading-moment. You guys make amaaaaazing content! Really there is no need to re-use.

Since all those ropes and tape could cause so much stress, why not crate them like Steve Irwin used to do? His method seemed to have been a lot less stressful.

Seems like instinct drives them so hard to hurry that nothing interrupts them.Seen another program where they talked about them.
