so... you missed Love Dive from IVE, it connects to ELEVEN and After Like. The lyrics aren't really talking about a man, it's them falling in love for themselves. It's a reference to the narcisus tale in which he falls in love with his own reflection in the water. All their songs until now are connected lorewise, and their coreos and MV have a lot of arrows and cupid references. They shot arrows in Eleven coreography, then turned into cupids in Love Dive and it hits themselves in After Like.

I love your reaction!!! IVE lyricist Seo Jieum just won lyricist of the year for writing 3 IVE title tracks. The after LIKE is silly but it's so cute hahah. 17:13 "something transparent between you and me, look into it quietly, into the rising waves, i'm falling in love even more" explains Seo Jieum's narcissism lore for IVE, it's when Narcissus falls in love with his own reflection in the lake. So rather than cute lyrics I think it's quite dark lol. Their 2nd single LOVE DIVE takes inspiration from Narcissus diving in the lake because he's obsessed with himself... You're exactly correct about the I in between LOVE, it's narcissism again. Also 17:25 "I didn't know my heart was so colorful" line was viral in Korea and Korean sapphic love it. What's amazing about Seo Jieum's lyrics is you can apply any context and it would fit. If you want it to be about a man, a woman or even self. But IVE is known for their narcissism theme, it's not like itzy self-love concept, it's more like being self-obsessed lol. The lyrics is clear if you listen to their b-sides!! He, I always thought nothing would top ailee’s ‘and I will show you’ in terms of Gloria tributes, but this comes close. I like that they have a firm identity but at the same time they’re not afraid to expand their sound and explore new things. Also, their hair game is 10/10.

WOW! I had never checked out 3EY before now. This is AWESOME! I love everything that IVE has ever come out with, they are just so cool! It's really difficult though since they have a couple of members who are still under-age, makes me feel like a real perv just because I love their music videos so much. :P They are very artsy, the director knows what they are doing. The ladies are so great at acting their parts, dancing, singing and obviously rapping (when that is called for but they do not have rap in every song).
