Have you ever met someone like Noah? He is fantasy. Is love complicated? It can be but not necessarily. Is it Nicholas Sparks novel complicated? Most likely, no. If you want to watch a film that captures realistic dysfunctional, complicated relationships? Off the top of my head, try Pieces of Her, Blue Valentine, or Marriage Story. This movie literally rips me apart. My grandmother had Alzheimer's for many years. Until his good death my grandfather would sit by her bed in a rocking chair hold her hand, even though she hadn't recognized him in years, and talk or read to her. They slept in the same bedroom. he and their marriage bed and her and her hospital bed until he went into the hospital where he died. They married during world war II and were devoted to each other their entire lives.

@@angelicasysnila5476 basically the movie jumps between two timelines- 90's and 50's it starts at a nursing home (I'm assuming in the 90's but it could be 80's as well) where an older gentleman is coming to and older lady with Alzheimer and reads her a story. Then the movie cuts to the story that is happening in the 50's. In that timeline when meet two young people, ali and Noah; we watch them fall in love and watch them break up after Ali's mom said Noah was too poor for her. To make a very long story short- we see Ali and Noah drift apart and then comeback together. Back to the 90's timeline- the older lady suddenly remembers that she is Ali and the older gentleman who told her this story everyday, in hopes that she will gain memory back- is Noah. The movie ends with Ali and Noah dying together in their sleep holding hands. The true magic is within the love Noah had for Ali. Its beautiful.
