A calm outdoor piano music session for your focus and studying, mind work, reflection, meditation, writing, stress relief or healing music playlist, for spa and wellbeing, and of course also simply for relaxation and enjoyment.

Yes, I know, although I try, many of my actions are far from perfect. I, as what I am, am far from perfect. And yet I'm learning to be cool with it. I look at the phrase "You are enough" and feel "Yes, that's right, I am enough". I am who I am, I have good intentions, I seek to create and share helpful things and beauty, and with it to create my place in our world. I am on my way to becoming my true self.
Nothing is stable in our vibrant, ever-evolving world. Every organism strives for survival, growth, finding its place and function in the system, giving and receiving, becoming part of the whole or dissolving. In a human world, this also leads to competition, effort, striving for competence, skill, excellence, understanding of what matters, sometimes simply hunger for power with no deeper vision for the good of all.
This keyboard piano session is far from perfect. Despite my best efforts, the result is not my best game, the lens focus is not on point, the weather does not show the full beauty of the landscape. And yet this music video is part of my journey. It's made with love. An experiment. For me it belongs here. Part of my journey as a musician and human being. I almost decided not to share it with you. But here we are.
I think knowing that we are enough without judging individual results, personal traits, looks, or opinions too harshly could be important. Just recently, I heard a fairly successful CEO of a large rocket company celebrate a test flight that lasted only a few minutes and ended with a rocket explosion. He says it's about learning as much as you can with each next step. I think that's strong. We may or may not like rocket programs, but this attitude seems intelligent.
Long journeys to distant, undiscovered places (places within or outside ourselves) usually consist of many steps. Some even say the journey is the goal. Then I would say let's take many little, joyful steps. Maybe using precision, excellence and near-perfection only when it really counts. And maybe using our energy wisely. Maybe designing our week, month, year to be enjoyable, meaningful and fulfilling.
Life is a balancing act. Life is beautiful. This life is yours. It is to be enjoyed. Because you can. You are enough.

Yes I do so love what you wrote about life that's it is a balancing act and nothing is perfect. Perfect is an illusion and it takes so much energy away from just living. To strive after being perfect will take out the joy of just living in the presence or moment with the knowledge that what you do is good enough, you are good enough even when you fail or makes bad decisions! I’m with you on that, Susanne. It is an illusion. There are instances where it’s important that things really do their job close to 100% (like an airplane carrying humans), but even those are not perfect in all regards. I personally was aiming for some sort of high standards (some sort of perfect-ness) much of my life with what I do. I begin to sense that this is not the only path to a happy, fulfilled and meaningful life. And also not the only path to be of meaningful service to oneself and others. No it’s not foldable. It’s a short 49 key’s keyboard I plugged into my laptop to record the session.

I love how you keep moving your feet like you're tapping the foot pedals of a piano. I'm taking it you were trained to play the piano and not the keyboard😂😂😂

Well, I only get it sounding the way I want with the pedal attached. You should be able to see it when you zoom in eg on mobile (this video got a little blurry though, as I had issues with the focus this time). Would probably sound very awkward what I play there without holding the notes with the pedal. …trained…well, I’m actually more of a keyboard, much self taught with taking lessons here and there player, pivoting to the piano in recent years, as I feel I have a hard time expressing piano style music on a plastic keyboard. And it’s not the plastic’s fault. It much about the keyboard actions in the instruments, their designs, how the human muscle power gets transmitted exactly to the devise. And then the exact sound, too. Those two interact somehow. For me it’s about the feel. So that I can feel the instrument, connect with it. So I can express the music that wants to be expressed. A deep topic and still in evolution on the manufacturer’s side.
