Seconding the first comment, and highly recommending both! Atsv better than the first but both have scaled to the top two spots in my mind for best comic book/animated movies. Tbh, if the third is half as good as any of em, best trilogy of all time (lotr trilogy will then become second best for me, which will be a terrific feat for spiderverse but still not surprising)

Looking back on it now, there’s so much foreshadowing here that Miguel isn’t as good of a guy as one would expect. The guys in the helicopter realized it pretty quickly, haha. But the big one that stood out to me was the ominous image of Vulture’s wings appearing behind him, looking like they are his ominous wings.

I wanna say its more of the canon explanation that spider people need to go through at least one event. Uncle Ben dying, failing to save MJ, etc. In Hollands universe, Aunt May dies, so I think for Gwen her "event" was when Peter died

​@@MekhiTFBut they explained those too. They talk about two canon events. One is a closed one dying. For Peter it was Uncle Ben, for Gwen it was Peter and for Miles it was his uncle Aaron. The other one is the one about the police captain. Which anctually neither Miles nor Gwen have gone through.

The same thing happens to Miles when Prowler-Miles knocks him out near the end of the movie, and I'm sure every other Spiderman has lapses, too. Spidersense has to be fickle for plot reasons. Otherwise it's basically impossible to threaten them physically.

The Guggenheim is an art museum in NYC (I've been there) and would not be surprised if they have one of Jeff Koons's balloon animals. Its founder was Solomon Guggenheim.

They change a lot of names of things in the other Spider Dimensions, ie the NYPD is the PDNY in Miles's dimension but I'm almost certain they kept the Guggenheim's name as is.

I always felt conflicted about that preggy spider-woman. She looks cool and all. But I also felt disappointed. Like, couldn't she wait 9 months on her job of helping people?
