Honestly it depends, as a city fan I wouldn’t want Liverpool to win it just cause of the recent performance based rivalry, I wouldn’t want Man U to win it for obvious reasons, I wouldn’t want chelsea to win it cause I still hold a grudge lol. But if it were spurs or arsenal I’d be rooting for either of them to go on and win it if they’re the only team left. Just like this season in the league if we win the champions league I would have no problem with arsenal winning the league compared to if Chelsea or Man U won it. Obviously I’d love to win the league but I don’t dislike arsenal so I wouldnt feel that dread that a club I don’t like won it.

As a youth in 1979 I can remember twisting an ariel on a black and white telly in my bedroom in Manchester to watch through the digital snow Forest play in the european cup and wanting Forest to win it because they were the English team, those were the rules back then, if your team ain't in it you support the English remaining. It was a top night, I had a Yorkie and some Monster Munch and some Vimto, get in. Forest won, it was brilliant. It wasn't about my team it was about English football. I think it depends what english team. As a chelsea fan I wouldn't want Liverpool, Arsenal or Tottenham to win it, but if it was someone like Leicester or Newcastle I would root for them.
