A True Story. I was traveling thru Europe for 10 months goung to place to place meeting people. I was in Spain and the friends i had made took me to a Nughtclub. We party all night. Thats when they told me we are going to another party. Than they asked me if i knew who James Blunt was. I said of course. Thats when they smiled. Well when we got to this beautiful house and went in. They told me rhis is James Blunts house and he DJ 's his parties. I was blown away when i daw him DJing was a great time and i even got to met and hangout with him. Super Nice Guy and So Friendly. A great memory of all the people and friends i met from Prague all the way thru every country til ended up in Spain at James Blunts Home.

What the song tells usually experience by most male in some period of their time. Seeing a random beautiful girl in a random place and kind 'love at first sight' . Compliment her at your own thoughts that no one would ever know but after that reality struck you in the face that she is a random beautiful girl and almost no way to be with her 'coz that's just a random encounter that doesn't last. The verse (second one) goes like this: "Yes, she caught my eye As we walked on by She could see from my face that I was Fucking high And I don't think that I'll see her again But we shared a moment that will last 'til the end" In no place it say he is stalking her, and the "high" is a metaphor on how smitten he was with her. And the video where he is naked represents he showing his raw emotions and the jump from the cliff his acknowledgment that he will never have her and he makes peace with it.
