30 seconds in and I'm in love with this playlist. 30 seconds in and my imagination has been captured. 30 seconds in and I'm starting to feel like I've understood the meaning of life. I'll be honest, I do not code, but I do a lot of digital work, and mechanical tinkering, and this makes me feel like my work means more than a simple task to be completed, and is my creativity and my wonder, surfacing and growing into something beautiful. What an honor it would be to uncover the beautiful secrets of the Universe on the front lines. But when the pandemic went full-fledged, I fell into depression and stopped seeing the beauty of the world for a very long time

“Why’d you get married if neither of you liked each other?” Before I can speak, a husky male voice speaks up from her side; “It was a marriage of convenience” and he looks over at me. A pair of amber peach blossom shaped eyes greet me. You would imagine such eyes would hold some amount of warmth in them given how beautiful they are. I have to correct you: his eyes do hold warmth but give out none when they look into mine, but only controlled looks of contempt. However when he looks over at the woman in his arms, the woman who has always been good to him, the woman he loves but…the one who isn’t his lawful wife; his eyes are always full of warmth and fondness. I grip the tablecloth tightly hoping no one notices. ‘Marriage of convenience’; that’s what he always says without ever asking if it was the same for me, or if I actually liked him. Looking over at her I cannot bring myself to say contradict him too. When I was younger I thought if I could just swing a little higher, a little further I could reach up and grab the skies and claim all her celestial bodies for myself. But now that I’m older I can barely grasp the hold of the man right in front of me. He seems to be slipping away from me daily; slipping away from me and into the arms of the beautiful and elegant woman sitting right next to him. [I see my stars in his eyes; eyes that are more beautiful than a thousand galaxies even with all their shooting furies. I knew I would be okay even if the only stars I ever got to land my sight throughout the rest of my life were his blazing orbs. I am in love with him. I have been since the day he pronounced himself as my lover and betrothed to the world instantly taking away their chance to question my supposed affair to a married man. It was that very day when he audaciously came forward as my alibi to save me from what could have happened otherwise; he became a false alibi when he realized I was getting dragged into an obvious trap by the said married man who I had actually turned down. When the world had gasped at his statement of having me in his arms the night of the incident I had remained quiet and done my best to remain impassive to my thundering heart. He could’ve left me once the tsunami had gone down, could’ve sneaked away once the public’s eyes had turned but chose to stay close by instead. He made sure to keep me close, keeping me company wherever I’ve had to go ever since. Despite being a public figure himself he’s kept his word that he had declared to the world in the heat of the moment. He’s written me vows, read them to me in presence of the world, lifted my ivory veil and kissed me to seal those very vows. And he’s made sure to keep those vows too; taken care of me in sickness and health. He’s cradled me in his arms on nights I’ve shivered and woken with a start. Without a miss he has always been there for me, shushing my fears and nightmares away, whispering softly to me while pressing his lips to my temple gently. He has been my only solace, my safe habitat. He is my confidant; knows more about me than my own parents who trust him indiscriminately knowing how much he’s done for their daughter. I am the actress but he is the actor the world never got to applaud for. When I see him with his arms around her only the sheer memory of waking up this very morning with the faint embrace of his sandalwood scent is able to keep me from letting my emotions out. You see, I can’t let my husband know that I am in love with him as I fear it would only cage him to this very fake marriage of ours. So I must keep pretending to be friends with his sweetheart for the public to believe that he and I are still very much in love. I can’t hurt her either…how could I possibly cause harm to my love’s very happiness?] twitter:@julyswillow

I find coding relaxing. It gets frustrating sometimes, but its so satisfying when you get to the point where it works. Its at least more controllable and less messy/chaotic than the obnoxious and capricious aspects of “society” and all the random meaningless annoying bullshit it entails. At least code usually does the same thing every time you run it.

*not a doc* *watch andrew huberman *It could be because while coding (which is a work, a career which is what we're pushed to pursue all our lives) therefore you always had and still have dopamine release when thinking about coding and when about to code also when coding itself. Everytime you feel good or you feel you are doing what's right, the right thing you had to do, which makes you feel good, it is dopamine. Dopamine has a double edged sword mirror molecule *I don't remember the name* and this molecule is responsible for making you crave and even make you feel guilty or uncomfortable until you are doing the thing you are craving (in this case coding, could be cigarette at the same time, both! ) and then two things can happen excluding not dosing yourself enough -> you dose yourself properly and then go do something else, well what happened from my understanding is that you got enough dopamine to satisfy your reward system, but the mirror molecule starts to increase its potency while the potency of the dopamine released by that activity reduces. Therefore, you will need more of that thing in the future to satisfy your reward system's increase demand. From then on, you will feel more craving and more guiltiness to not be coding because you feel like its what you should be doing, its your work, it pays, you gain experience, you advance, it feels good. All that, all that we perceive as some sort of gut feeling telling us to be doing something specific as if it knew and as if that expression really meant something! Well its dopamine's mirror molecule. The thing is, its not necessarily good because if you think of it from a programmer standpoint, that means (in a clearly not complete way but in a basic way) if(gainedDopamine >= threshold) { //treshold for that activity weGoodHomie(dopamineCraveStop(totalDopamine)); treshold += x%; mirrorCravingSeekingMoleculeBaseline += xyzAlgorithm; //but it went up! then well the above last line's mirror molecule will make you crave more intensely that thing i hope it was all clear good luck }

I don't really know where to begin. I'm not someone who ever comments on a video but listening to this playlist just made me think so much. I love writing, more than writing , I love how tangible it feels to have an ink pen, the nib scratching the surface of paper as I write each letter and as my thoughts flow into words. Here's an excerpt from my journal after listening to this playlist for a bit. " Beginnings. Endings. Beginning again. It's a cycle isn't it? Just like everything else in life. Just like how a phoenix rises from the ashes of what it once was, could I do more & be more without loosing out on the things precious to me? The world is changing rapidly at a speed never seen before. Will I be able to keep up or will I be left behind? Change is inevitable and yes it is indeed but why does it have to be so disruptive and change everything all at once? Will I be able to keep up? Can I afford to slow down? There is just so much going on outside, yet here I'm still within the four walls of my room, in my own little bubble, reluctant to put in the effort to break outside this bubble I've made for myself. Growth begins at the end of your comfort zone and I've experienced it myself, yet I've reached a place where I'm too comfortable and moving outside of what I know fills me up with fear. So here is an advice to the me who is now curled up cozily, nervous to step out. Use fear as a compass , use it as guidance and take the first step forward to a newer version of ourself. There is just so much more to life and the world than the four walls of my room." It's just a rant of sorts but the words just seem to flow endlessly while I was listening & I have this urge to share these words in the hopes that it helps someone, just like it's helping me to get back up and keep moving forward.

@@BritishSound It's obvious that the original artists have created the music, for something this is a 'playlist', also I always give credits to other people's works, be it for music, videos and images, as long as I find the original author. Yes, I receive money but for the support of people who like what I do, for which I thank them in the videos and improving the content. My channel doesn't monetize due to the obvious fact that the music isn't mine (except for some videos that I use my music). OK, but I completely disagree that making playlists isn't art: curating/choosing the right music for what the title suggests and that it can make the listener feel that they are in that situation, mood or that inspires them to do their job/activity with more dedication and joy, among other things is that making playlists is an art form, in my opinion. It's like choosing the right music for the soundtrack of a movie or video game, and that's saying a lot!

It's a really good combination of music. In my work I dont do any coding. I work out side and in nature , as a horticulturalist and landscape gardener, so I use computers only very occasionally. So, it is good to see someone , perhaps you Nobody doing it. I hope you are well.

"Signal to Noise" is one of the most haunting, powerful pieces I've ever heard. If you listen to it when you're out walking on a clear night, and you look up while it's playing, you could be standing perfectly still and you'd still get lost.

As I was tuned into the music, I was thinking about the scene in Breaking Bad where Walter tastes Gales coffee. All I can think of is trying to create and perfect a cup of coffee to the point where no other coffee will ever come close. Great playlist - thanks!
