Hey! I first wanted to apologize because during editing I realized I didn't really explain the specific logistics if bundling, I gave more of an idea and overview. I'm going to be going more in depth in the video coming up where I show the process of a live stream from start to finish. I wanted to share the numbers after shipping was complete. Total books sold: 176 Sales: $526 COGs: $54 Profit: $366.94 This was definitely a light Saturday show but the power of bundling, especially in moving old stock or clearance items.

I find you to be one of the most valuable trainers on YT for helping people figure out Whatnot. Thank you for sharing these incredible tips! You are always so thorough and clear. Do you have any videos or insights on how to create a clip? I played around with it but don’t understand how to edit the clips to what I want. They seem random.

🥰🥹 Thank you!!! It is my pleasure and I'm so glad they are so helpful and informative! I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a "clip". Are you referring to a thumbnail or preview video? Or maybe a clip of your show that can be seen in your profile? Thanks again!
@jacynsiebert6 күн бұрын
@ yes! The clip in my profile. I was playing around with the past show from earlier today and have two random clips under my “clips” section of my profile but want to use them strategically as short form for sharing main points and building brand reputation. Do you know how to do that?
@resellmaven6 күн бұрын
Okay for one, I LOVE that idea! Honestly never thought of that. All of mine are regulars who clipped fun moments to remember. So I've never tried clipping before but from what I know they are less than a minute I believe and can be edited but only on IOS. I have android so that may be why I never played around with it either. Here is a guide to editing them: help.whatnot.com/hc/en-us/articles/9535359092749-Clipping-a-Livestream

@@resellmaven Thank you! Thank you! yes, I think it would be an excellent way to repurpose show content to share on other social media channels to build brand reputation, awareness, and drive traffic to shows.

I love using bundles in my shows. I will usually always accept a bundle request. My only exceptions are RAID trains (which I still have to do as I'm growing my customer base) and for my once a month fabric bolt ends and remnant piece liquidation because sometimes more than one person wants a particular item so if there are more than one person who wants it, I will run the piece. But for sure, bundling has been helpful both in saving fees and in customers creating piles. And I too, always repeat it out loud, because people are always in and out, and you never know who might be interested. Great video Amanda, as usual. XOXO.

Hey! I completely agree with you on raid trains and doing individual listings, it seems to be the easier and smoother move there. Thank you so much!

Thank you for this video. Very informative! Now how do you package these since they are all different sizes?
@resellmaven4 ай бұрын
Hey, thank you! I use a variety of boxes that I source for recycling bins in my area. I use about 5 diffenrt sizes on average as well as Poly mailers in 3 sizes. The Poly mailers are linked in all of my video descriptions and I have a video on shipping if you click on my page, it's about 10 back or so

I'm doing a sale Friday. I'm selling crochet earrings. If I have a buyer that buys several items, how would I bundle their purchase?
@resellmaven3 ай бұрын
Hey, so if a buyer makes multiple purchases in 1 show, Whatnot will "bundle" all those items in your seller dashboard for shipping. If you're talking about making bundles in your show for buyers and then having them purchase everyone in one purchase. You would just take a screenshot of all the items the selected and create a listing live in the show with their name, price of the bundle and weight of items. Then I put mine in the Buy It Now, you could run it as an auction as well

@@resellmaven oh wow that second option sounds like a learning curve 😆😂. Thanks for the info. Love your channel, very informative.
@resellmaven3 ай бұрын
It is a little learning curve but it's very doable once you get the hang of it. But Whatnot will ensure everything gets organized on the back end regarding who bought what. Thanks so much!!

When someone is finished closing and they are ready to check out, how do you invoice them or allow them to checkout? So you create one bundled listing for them to checkout? My customers get charged automatically as soon as they win an auction, so I’m not sure how you can collect a payment manually.
@resellmaven4 ай бұрын
Hello! Once a buyer is ready to cash out, I take a screenshot of the pile and then create a new listing with the buyers name, price and weight of the bundle. They can then purchase it directly from the Buy It Now. There is no invoice needed and they pay right in the show just like they bought something from the BIN or won an auction.
@pallor174 ай бұрын
What I do also is pre-create draft listings which already have pics, etc. in them and then I just change the name, weight, and price. Saves a bit of time. 🙂

bundles probably gets more sales.. buyers get the feeling to buy more since it feels like shipping won't break the bank.. Even if shipping ends up around the same. It doesn't feel that way. Feels like the more I buy the less everything will be.
@resellmaven3 ай бұрын
Lol exactly! Bundles can definitely make people feel like they're getting a good deal and they are but they're not paying more or less for anything that they would win on auction per se. The shipping may be more accurate overall with bundles as well.
