Among Us with a ton of new roles. As follows:
Veteran:
Crewmate that has a cooldown ability that will kill anyone who uses an ability on them.
Amnesiac:
Neutral role that can steal the role of a dead body
Sheriff:
Sheriff can kill imposters
If the Sheriff attempts to kill a Crewmate or Neutral character, the Sheriff dies instead
Swapper:
Swapper can switch all votes for one person with those for another during a meeting; all votes for the first person count for the second (and vice versa)
Lovers
Lovers are two players who are linked, with a primary goal of staying alive together
If both Lovers are among the last 3 players alive, they win
The remaining Lover automatically dies when their partner dies
Jester
Jester wants to be voted out; they have no tasks to complete
Jester wins if they are voted out, and loses if Crewmate or Imposter team wins
Haunter
After they die they can complete their tasks to reveal the imposters.
Child
If the Child dies, the game ends.
Snitch
The Snitch appears as a Crewmate, when the finish their last task, the imposters are revealed to them. The imposter knows who the Snitch is.
Spy
The Spy can see the color of people on the admin table as well as see how long a body has been dead on the vitals.
Swooper
The Swooper is an imposter that can turn invisible for a brief period of time.
Janitor
An impostor who can kill and can clean up bodies, preventing them from being seen or reported
Assassin
Can guess the role of a crewmate or neutral role in a meeting to kill them.
Morphling
Imposter that can sample other people and disguise themselves as that person
Retributionist
Can guess the role of an imposter or neutral role in a meeting to kill them.
Miner
Imposter than can place down additional vents
Camouflager
Imposter than can make everyone in the game appear gray
Arsonist
Wins when everyone else dies. Must douse other players and then ignite everyone at once.
Seer
Can see the roles of others over their heads.
Altruist
Can revive a dead player by killing themselves. The other player will revive after some time.
Shifter
Can steal the role of another character and make them the shifter. If the shifter tries to shift with an imposter, the shifter will die.

I'm not a coder but I think coding works similarly to computing logic in general, and since altruist ends up cleaned when they do a revive it should be fairly easy to add coding that allows body to be revived as long as it hasn't been cleaned.... although things could get wonky with games that have janitors and timelords if cleaned bodies aren't revived

I’m pretty sure that’s already a thing. Cleaned bodies don’t come back. And when an altruist uses their ability, their body is essentially cleaned so they should be exempt from time lord just from that. Unless the time lord can put back someone revived to dead, it shouldn’t be an issue, and even then it makes little sense why the altruist would be affected instead.

I was thinking it ought to be simple enough to add a flag that gets triggered when the Altruist uses their ability that prevents them being rezed when the Time Lord uses their ability? It's one, maybe two extra variable checks to the Time Lord ability, shouldn't be too hard?

Idk it seems pretty simple to me. If you were alive before the time rewind then youre alive. If you were dead than youre dead.

An interesting role might be mechanic, who can interact with a job panel in order to see who the last person to use it was. Or to see if it was activated in the last, idk, 10 seconds? Maybe after they finish a task they can see, if we want to make it a bit different.

they should make it so If altruist gets time-rewound back to life, they become amnesiac or survivor. It wouldn't even be that bad to impliment this, since they already have rolls like Amne and Plaguebearer that change upon a certain condition. Just have Alt change roll upon reviving someone
