I did the math. Bob had approx. 0.6% likelihood of getting that many rolls without a six. The probability of rolling 9 fives in a row is about 0.0001%. Bob really showed extreme luck and probability-bending math, just not in the good way.

The math checks out, but Bob didn't roll 9 fives 'in a row', they were separate. The highest number of fives he got in a row was 4, which is about 0.077% chance. Still low, just not as low. Another thing: the probability of Bob rolling 28 times with no sixes and then finally getting a six on the 29th roll is around 0.1%. Dammit, Bob.

I did some more math on Bob’s fives. To roll exactly 9 fives in 28 total roles is 28 nCr 9 * ((1/6)^9)*((5/6)^19)*100 ≈ 2.15%. He had a 99.39% chance to roll any sixes (1-28) out of 28. I think technically, this is supposed to be a more rigid version of parchisi, not letting you jump any pawns on the track, so they played this with very liberal rules iirc. Sorry!, is the game you can jump over pieces, but still knock them back, as well as have more cards that get you out of start. They played that too, also initially wrong lmao.

The endgame of it all was absolutely amazing. Bob and Wade had NO chance to pass Mark and so, Wade slowly from rolling anything but a 6, then finally getting it and screaming "ayYYYYYYYYY" to every other roll, Mark SLOWLY making his way to victory with low rolls and then Bob who kept rolling anything besides 6 (mostly 5) and then finally rolling a 6 at the end is just comedic gold. This right there has to be one of the best videos that Mark has on his channel
