I genuinely like this collection. It reminds me most of the Holo Taco Retro collection, with added shimmer. I love love love the green, because, of course I do! I don’t know if I’ll pick any of them up, but that green is tempting!

Your problem with hot gossip is because Flaminglow would go better with the summer vibe of this collection. But they retired that lovely shade from last summer. Hot Gossip would fit in as a peach with the far far away collection, so it helps fill out what they’ve got now. I would like to compare Spoonful of Sugar next to the holiday version of Aquamarine because I would call Spoonful acid-washed, not periwinkle.

I adore the shimmergraphic finish! So so pretty! It’s so funny you didn’t like hot gossip. I actually love that one for a more neutral look with a bit of pizzazz. My other favs are Tipsy Turvy, and Pinky’s Up! 🥰 I will be picking this collection up for sure. Especially since I saw it is LE. 💖

I think my favorite is Spoonful of Sugar (onto the wishlist it goes) but I have enough similar-ish polishes for the rest of the shades here. Btw I lol'ed when you said that Tipsy Turvy wasn't robins egg blue because at the exact same time I was like "UM whatchu talkin bout cirque that's a *medium blue*" and then you immediately said the same. Hi Steph! I totally agree with you that the colour descriptions for some of these shades are way off. I really love Spoonful of Sugar since I love dusty colours and will definitely be picking that up. Tipsy Turvy is a close second! Overall I do think this is a more exciting Cirque collection (for me at least) compared to the Encore one, though I feel the colours don’t go well together…? When I saw them as a skittle on your nails I was thinking about how much they clashed. This one gave me similar vibes to the ILNP Summer Nights collection, but that one I felt was SO much more cohesive. Though I’m sure I’m in the minority here. :p

hi hi! :) yeah so weird with the descriptions right? 😅 its such a pet peeve of mine lol but color can look different to different people soo maybe that’s it haha. so glad you really loved Spoonful of Sugar too!! it really is super pretty and yes also love Tipsy Turvy 💙✨ but interesting! i do agree this is more like exciting color palette wise, but i didn’t really find the encore shades clashed (maybe except the black lol) but yeah i also agree that ILNP’s Summer Nights is even more cohesive too!

Summer vibes. A possible IDEA is that if you want to get rid of polishes but are worried about not being able to use to compare...as long as you have footage of swatching that color on file..you can pull up the footage that you already swatched to compare and still get rid of the polishes in a declutter.

So cute and colorful! Cirque's spring/summer collections tend to be my favorite and this one is fun and funky like the Cali Dreamin' and the Surfer's Crush collections. Jammin' Out, Spoonful of Sugar, and You Tart! are def. going on the wishlist. Hot Gossip is...a choice, lol, it could be a brighter peach/apricot to mesh w/ the rest of the colors better, but I like the idea of it being a cool base for glitter toppers. At the time I tried to buy Day Tripper, but when I went to check out, it was sold out, lol So I really hope they bring it back so I can re-up my bottle of Flamingo (one of my favorite hot pinks!) and finally get my hands on Day Tripper. so glad you enjoyed my review of these! and i just shared a comparison of these to the HT jellies in my IG stories, you can DM me if you miss it, but yeah aside from the lack of shimmer i would say they have almost the same amount of glitter in both, but the jelly bases on HT are a lot more pigmented where i’d consider them almost like crellies, while cirque’s are more jellies - even the pink & dark blue still look like they have a juicier/translucence to them if that makes sense. but you still get a hint of nail line in the HT ones!

Since Hot Gossip is so sheer, I wonder if you can top it over the blue or the pink to brighten the shimmers on those, especially if they look kinda dull in indirect light. Can’t tell if the peach base would impact that too much tho, just a thought!

Great video! I was definitely confused about this shimmergraphic launch though because on Monday cirque sent out an email saying they were discontinuing the finish effective immediately?? i couldnt agree more!! 🤗 and ah those two seem to be super popular, no surprise since they’re such fun colors! and omg i had to look up that meaning, that’s too funny 🙈 i’m sure that was completely overlooked! but yes absolutely think there’s a difference too between having the shimmer within the base of the polish vs just on top! but i have noticed even shimmers within can vary by their sizes, like some are incredibly fine and densely packed so it almost gives it a uniform sheen, but i’ve yet to see a topper like that 🤔 and hehe glad you always notice the details Christine!! ☺️😉🥂

dry time can vary based on a few things, but generally if you do thinner coats they’ll dry down faster. and the most important thing is using a quick dry top coat too!

I don't know if it's weird that I consider the naming aspect to be part of what influences me to dislike a polish, but... I don't gossip or share tea cus I find it disrespectful to people who are still my friends at the end of the day, but besides that, I think I mentioned in your favorite holographics video that I kind of lost the spark for holo polishes? I mean, I still appreciate the last 3 shades though (which I'm not surprised since I have quite a lot of blues and purples). Weird to say, but I don’t like this collection, despite this is like my kind of shades. I think is because despite they are shimmer they elan to neon. I only liked the blue, however, I rather the shade you showed from ILNP because I’m going to complete the full Summer Nights collection 😂
