It's drops from a savage raid in stormblood. The last one, O12S, specifically. You can probably find a partyfinder listing for it, but they'll expect you to be level 90 just to benefit from the bonus echo stats

Funny enough, I’ve actually had the opposite experience with the game haha. Been playing for 4 months now, about to head into Endwalker and loose my sprout soon, not one single person has befriended me or approached me like this so far. I mean it’s cool because I like playing solo, and there’s definitely a ton of super nice people, but yeah. That’s my story haha

Me and another player adopted a sprout who really wanted the Kirrin Mount. So we had them hide in the corner whilst we just about one shot the bosses at lvl 90 It took us around 20mins of our time to make someone happy :)

I befriend people as a form of business card. I'm not the best crafter, but everything I give of like level 60 or less is HQ, slapped with a decent chunk of Materia Overmeld (if not fully done for the 30 or less range). Full sets, rings and all. And most times? I'm usually just chilling out in Limsa, so I offer them for free. I'll even do some quick dungeons to get rookies some Eikon weapons.

The best way to get comms is just to be a flashy healer farming roulettes. When I did it myself, I got about 60-100 in a day with some hard-core grinding. It takes time, but becoming a mentor is very much worth it to help other sprouts become a mentor under your wing

Just run guildhests as a healer, I got 50 in about an hour lol

It's really not that much, i never grinded them out but with just leveling during expansion and patches got enough to become one if i wanted to, which i don't but yk, it's possible.

@@ebleesa yes its true there are a bunch of toxic people who have mentor status and its like every bit of media , only the negative/toxic people get talked about putting a bad rep for the non toxic mentors but just know that there is a lot of mentors who are not toxic. also please ignore the other commenter showing their toxicity some people get way too defensive over this game.
