Having such a fate, only a brave, self-confident, grateful and strong-minded person can go through everything and after everything that happened, treat life positively and remain kind to people, as well as look for opportunities to be useful to others. Matt, that's how I just saw your story, and I express my deep respect to you! May the memory of your father always remain bright. As before, I never cease to admire the noble deeds of the club members, because you pay special attention, participate, support the meaningful and important, and it is always so worthy! R.I.P. to your Dad Matt, I'm sorry for your loss mate but he would have been looking down on you on Sunday watching you and he would have been so proud of you bro! He was there with you in spirit, always will be! It's a shame that he never got to meet Nobes or see his last game but he'll be absolutely thrilled that you got to do it on his behalf! This is why West Ham is the best club in the world, we treat all our fans like kings and queens especially people like Matt who deserve it even more! What a special video and I am honoured that I was able to take time out of my day to watch it! I hope the club make you a regular photographer Matt, I'd love to see you back at the London Stadium tomorrow to capture more beautiful photos when we beat Manchester United #COYI ⚒️⚒️⚒️

What a lovely story & moment to watch Mark Noble with Matt. Seriously, two heroes together in my eyes! It struck a chord with me, as it brought back the good memories of going to West Ham with my Old Pop! It also reminded me, when I became an 'official photographer' for a day, at the Pre-season Ford United game agaisnt West Ham, also at Rush Green (owned by Ford's at the time). My mate played for the company team & as photography was a (brand) new hobby of mine, I managed to blag a VIP ticket, to go behind the scenes (who knew!!) & onto the pitch to take photos. As long I could make out I knew what I was doing, then nobody would know (or care) that I didn't have a clue on how to use a SLR camera. I was no Stevie Bacon! But it was a great day, starting off by sitting down & having a couple of beers with Harry Redknapp & being told to 'move away' by the manager Billy Bonds because I got to close! Being over 30 odd years ago & having to many liquid refreshments than a 'semi-pro' photographer should of had, it's hard to remember all the details (& the rubbish photos don't help) but I know it was good to be there with so many of my idols and it must of been the same for you! Yes, we are all one big (sometimes happy) family and you know exactly what I mean, when I say "As West Ham fans, we all stand together". God Bless you my friend! COYI!
