I honestly think the reason behind West Ham’s poor start to the season is because his presence isn’t at the club anymore. We miss him massively! I absolutely love the bloke! Forever will be Mr. West Ham ⚒️⚒️⚒️

100 percent there probably all knackered sweeping the dressing room now nobes has gone 🤣⚒

Maybe I'm imagining it, or projecting, but I think I see this reflected in Dec's demeanor. He got to be captain on the pitch last season but Nobes ran everything else and then some. Dec got to ride on his shoulders. This season the weight of that responsibility seems to have tempered Dec's joy. And there's no way he's keeping full hands on the organization like Mark did.

Exactly! I don't understand why some people make a habit of doing that. Talking to somebody one on one yet feel the need to keep using the persons name again and again. If it's intentionaly done to build connection or something? For me it just seems so contrived and unecessary.

we miss him so much at WHam right now, absolutely wish him all the best in the world. great episode.
Mark Noble is undoubtedly one of Englands greatest midfielders and should be voted into the Premiership Hall of Fame. His dedication, footballing skill and knowledge, plus his humility is an example of how all football players should behave. He would be a great asset to any football academy. Great interview with one of the nicest people in football.
@harshbutt2 жыл бұрын
He was good, but "one of England's greatest"? Don't be silly. You'd really have to stretch that list of "greatest" so much the word would lose any meaning.

This is a big IF, but IF Nobes did get a call up for England would we (West Ham) have got 18 years from him. All it takes is one injury to kill a career, look what happened to Dean Ashton. I’m glad he never got called up so could give it his all for West Ham. COYI ⚒

Those were only loan spells. When talking about a player being a "One Club Man", it only refers to proper full time contracts. And he only ever had that with The Hammers.
