Just some tips for you! I know you have dogs and if your cat gets along with them then this won’t matter but it’s good to have 2 cats rather than one so they’re not lonely, second tip is you need 2 litter boxes for 1 cat. If you have 2 cats then you need 3 litter boxes im sure you get it. Third tip I know you’re unsure about a lot of things you may want just like when you wanted the gecko and Hayley said you’ll change ur mind when you get older and she was right. Cats live a long time, and you’re a cat mom now. I hope you’re up for it. Anyway this is so exciting I know you’ve always wanted a kitten so I’m so happy for you!!

You don’t need 2 litter boxes for one cat? I’ve had cats and kittens and always had one for each, just make sure it’s cleaned regularly.

When my family only had one cat we only had 1 litter and then did our research and it turns out it’s better to have 2 especially if you have a big house or a house with a second floor. I mean it’s kinda the same for people I don’t want 1 toilet in my house I’d rather 2.

Second comment lol but also fancy feast wet food is a really good brand for cats. 2 cans a day gives ur cat the exact amount of calories they need in a day and you should feed your cat 12 hours apart but right now since she’s a kitten I’d say 3 times a day just a normal routine, yk breakfast, lunch dinner, but once she’s 1 or 2 start only feeding her twice:) please do your research if you wanna learn more that’s what I did when I got my cats. Also perfume isn’t the best for cats if they inhale a lot so try not to spray your perfume near her or her things! That’s all
