she was my Physics teacher at secondary school, she got me through A Level Physics actually really loving the subject! A total testament to her teaching style. She was the only VIP Gold member of the Hard Rock Cafe who was a physicist. She was FAB!

She is brilliant, she is completely redefining the approach between students and science. I wish I had someone like her to inspire me in high school (And now again in University). In France, I think the way we teach science, and especially physics is inappropriate, we are taught notions and principles but we never really explore the explanations, we just stay stuck in endless laws without really understanding them. It would be so much better to teach by the means of experiences and make students understand science the way some discovered it. I really hope for new approaches to cross the English Channel because right now, instead of making science something interesting, fascinating, we keep conventionalizing it and make it too abstract, too boring whereas it is an endless source of knowledge that keeps bringing us unsolved issues to lead us a bit closer to the understanding of our world. Thanks to all theses beautiful minds, we shall witness a new dawn in Fondamental science.

Fantastic stuff, Becky. Students on the Beamline in Canada at the Canadian Lightsource is doing similar. I hope it is still going well.

If there really is Reptoids on the other end of the portal CERN is trying to open, I imagine she looks just like them.
