This is so apt and at the right moment because I am looking fora new job and want to transition from just Analytics to AI and ML cause that is what coming 10-15 years in Tech looks like but it feels so overwhelmed by everything that its so hard to find a route that you can take and go on. So I think the best way is to start and see what I don't know and keep learning.
@LeninMcDonalds8 күн бұрын
If you’re transitioning into tech one potential route if you don’t mind coding is to join a reliable bootcamp to become a developer. Preferably a Java developer. Most companies need Java devs for at least another 10 years if not more. Gives you a solid base as a software engineer. From there moving into ai and ml wouldn’t be as hard as going in cold. It’s investment upfront for long term benefits. Bootcamp also gives you mentors through whom you can really learn a lot of ins and outs of the industries you target. Just my two cents of unsolicited advice😊

Love this Jeff! A lot of people are still hesitant about using AI, mostly because it feels overwhelming (so many tools, the jargon, etc). Plus, there’s that fear of not having the technical know-how to keep up. People need to understand that it's not necessarily mastering everything but just figuring out what works for you.

@@JeffSu my issues with AI is that none of the tech companies are allowing it as an "option" and are instead forcing it onto everyone in a very predatory "you WILL submit!" manner. I don't want AI forced into my Microsoft Office programs. I don't want an AI tool giving me summary answers when I am using Google to do research. I do not want an AI product deciding if the native image I took with my cellphone was fine or needed adjustments. I don't want AI sorting my images into folders using recognition "feature" ... all of these "benefits" are actually encroachments on free will. Yeah, I can stop using Microsoft products, Google products, Apple, Samsung et al.... but I shouldn't have to. People deserve to elect whether or not AI is right for them instead of being forced to tolerate it as inevitable.

hey jeff! great video breaking down the common challenges people face with AI adoption. as someone working in AI, i totally agree with your point about tool paralysis - there's just too many options out there one approach we've taken at jenova ai is consolidating everything into a single interface with an intelligent router that picks the best AI model for each task. no need to juggle 10 different apps or memorize which model is best at what. kinda like how iOS unified all smartphone functions into one seamless experience your point about sustainable learning is spot on too. the field moves incredibly fast - just in the past month we've seen major releases from OpenAI, Google, and Amazon. having a system to stay updated without getting overwhelmed is crucial really appreciate you sharing these practical strategies to help folks navigate the AI landscape! 🙌

So many points well made. And there are too many tools like you mentioned. Do you think there's an AI agent that will be brought to the gen. population where there 0 technical knowledge is needed? I've been looking into no code AIs like Workbeaver where it's taught to do the tasks based on what you show and do on your screen, and I think it's fascinating (IF it works!). I haven't tried it yet but they have early access registration. What do you think of AIs like this? Is it even feasible, teaching them like a human?
