“It didn’t seem like you were at peace though” hahaha. Sebastian is so funny. But omg what a Christmas miracle you really got the most perfect tree. It’s straight out of a movie. Great job on the flocking Sebastian 😂 I have been so stressed with finals and work. I enjoy your vlogs so much, it’s my little Christmas time activity during all the stress. ❤ Also, I totally get the wanting a big Christmas tree. I have noticed on myself that since I don’t have my family around I compensate that with other things like wanting certain things at Christmas time like a perfect tree or the perfect dinner.

🤣 he loves to call me out on my extra-ness, which is why I often feel like I need to explain my extra-ness haha since I usually don't think it's as over the top as other people might 🤪 I cannot believe I managed to get this tree. It absolutely shocked me. We showed up like 30 minutes before they closed for the year. It felt like fate. I definitely know where the future trees are coming from 🤣. Aww thank you so much! I'm so happy I can give you a little bit of holiday joy when you're struggling with stress from school and work! I totally feel the need to compensate when my family isn't here. It never feels really like Christmas without them, and now they never get to come anymore because my sister has to work during those days ☹️ I'm so glad you get it! 💗 Merry Christmas!!

🤣 The way you were hinting about the mug to Sebastian. 🤣 But ahhhh! Books! You make me want to go book shopping again. I gotta go again. ❤ Ohhh if you have any book recommendations, please let us know! And yay!! So glad that you found your perfect tree!! It's so big and fluffy!! 😍

🤣 and watch, he still won't have gotten the hint hahaha. I guess we will see on Christmas if I get the mug 😂. Omg going to book stores this time of year, especially, is so amazing - you should go check some out! I love going just for the vibes alone!! And yes, I need to do an updated video with my favorite books I've read this year!! If you need a holiday book rec. I loved Snowed In last year from Catherine Walsch! And thank you so much! I am sooooooo over the moon happy with the fluffiness of this tree!!

@kristi-anne 🤣 We shall see in Christmas day. 🤣 Ahhhh! I love browsing at the book store too!! Especially during the holidays! It brings me so much joy! And thanks for sharing your recommendation!! I'll definitely check it out!! ❤

Wow look at that gorgeous tree! It is absolutely stunning, a Christmas miracle! I am so happy you guys were able to get this one, I am always rooting for you during Vlogmas to find that perfect tree and you have definitely found THE ONE. I also loved your walkthrough in the book store. Book stores are my happy place too 😃I immediately added the book you got to my list and I will be running out to get it this week. It sounds right up my alley! I am soooo looking forward to your Whistler vlog!

Thank you so much! I actually said that it was a Christmas miracle at one clip in the video and I cut it out hahaha. I have not had a large grand fir in quite a few years, so I could not be more ecstatic about this year's tree. I wish I could keep it up all year long 😂. Omg book stores just bring me soooo much joy. I'm so happy that you loved the walk through! I will make sure to do that more often!! People seem to LOVE this book. I've only had enough time to read a couple of pages, but I'm sooo looking forward to sitting down and doing nothing else for a few hours but getting lost in it.

I really thought you were going to say that they let you take one of the reserved trees! But still an amazing end to the search! I don't mind hearing all of the buildup to finding the tree - it's an annual tradition!!
@kristi-anne25 күн бұрын
HAHA I knew that was how it was going to sound. I'm still in disbelief! It has been more and more tough every year to find my tree 🥲 I have even thought about going to an all-grand fir tree farm in Oregon to buy one 🤪. I'm insane.

Yaaaay what a happy ending.. the new tree looks absolutely amazing its so full no wonder you were not so sure about the first one.. 🎉 i wish you an amazing holiday season. Its the adventures that add to the memories ❤ bless you all.. i loved this blog so much.. its like the story line keeps turning and twisting to reach a happy ending 😇

I could not believe it. Especially since there was a LOT of going to different lots and farms to find a tree with no success haha. Thank you so much. The new tree is just so beautiful even without anything on it, I could not be more grateful. I wish I could keep it up all year long 😂. I will be squeezing every last minute of joy out of this one!! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you loved the vlog!! 💗

🤗🤗🤗 YAY! I can't wait to see it decorated! So very happy you found your tree!❤❤
@kristi-anne27 күн бұрын
We decorated it last week but, as usual, falling behind on getting the vlogs up on time 😅

⚜That tree is magnificent! Perseverance pays off! You don’t sound snobby at all; the perfect tree is an important part of the mood of Christmas. I think this is your most outstanding tree yet; can’t wait to see it decorated. Sebastian did his usual great job with the dreaded flocking as well! What was the name of the book you picked up that you said was raved about that you hadn’t read yet in Indigo? Can’t wait for more holiday videos!
@kristi-anneАй бұрын
Thank you so much-that means a lot to me! I don't want it to come off as out of touch because it's a privileged problem. This is probably my favorite tree to-date. I'm still in disbelief! We actually ended up adding more flock haha. I felt like this tree needed to feel extra snowy. The book is called The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year! I haven't had a chance to read more than a few pages yet, but I can't wait to get into it!

Don’t feel bad about what people thinks about your tree dilemma. People that love Christmas will understand you. I love Christmas and as for me all my Christmas decorations have to be perfect even though Christmas is not my favorite holiday. Halloween is my favorite though. But I also don’t buy really Christmas trees all my are fake trees. I understand you. But I do have a questions why are you having issues finding the particular Christmas tree? I have been watching your vlogsmas in forever and I don’t remember you having this much difficulty every is getting harder and harder. Also why getting the tree so late? They tree lot in Canada set up everything late? Just wondering. Here in the States I live all the trees lot already up the beginning of Dec. here where I live I can’t speak about others States. One last thing. I don’t remember if I mentioned this in another video. But I love your intro. Sebastian is so funny searching for his gift 😅 you always make the perfect fun intro. ❤
@kristi-anneАй бұрын
Thank you! I just don't want it to come off as out of touch since it's just a tree. I can totally tell Halloween is your favorite holiday. No one goes as all out with the makeup looks as you do!! It's amazing!! I wish I could see your Halloween decor cause your makeup alone is perfection! This type of Christmas tree is only 5% of Christmas trees produced ☹️ They're what I grew up with and have the strongest Christmas tree smell, so I can't bare getting a different type. The lots open up in mid November, but my issue is always that I can't get it before I'm done filming my vlogmas intro because it takes me so long to decorate my main tree. This tree we ended up getting on the 8th, which is about when we usually manage to find one. Next year I'm going to go to the same woman and buy her large tree again, even though it's later, because I know it'll be a good tree haha. Aww thank you so so much!! I have such a hard time coming up with the intros and putting them together, so you have no idea how happy it makes me that you enjoy them!!
@francesrodrz4236Ай бұрын
@ Ok! Thanks for explaining. I don’t know anything about real Christmas trees or lot since I never had a real Christmas trees and none of my family either I have zero clue. We all grew up with fake tree. Your Christmas trees that you found is gorgeous I can’t wait to see all decorated. You always decorate so beautiful. Your welcome I do know how much it goes in all your intro. I experience with my 60 sec Halloween makeup tutorials. My pinhead took me 4 to 5 hours to do for a second video. Alice the wonderland Mad Hatter took me 6 hours bc of the details. Even the simples video will still take time. I know your intro took time. You did great as always. I enjoy all of them every year. ♥️

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry I didn't see this message before! Thank you so much, I think we are most comfortable with what we grew up with. My family always had real Christmas trees, so that carried over into me as an adult. Oh my gosh I can't even imagine the work that goes into actually creating those looks!! ou do them SO well. Your videos remind me of this other creator who is really great at special effects and scary makeup looks. You might find her stuff interesting. I have a parka similar to yours from Aritzia and if I don't wear my hair in a braid it gets super tangled from rubbing against the collar. Do you have that problem since your hair is so long?
@kristi-anneАй бұрын
Fortunately, I haven't had major tangles from it, but I do really dislike how my hair goes all over the place! I feel like I need a better solution for wearing my hair with parkas and hooded jackets on haha
@sarahgee6690Ай бұрын
@@kristi-anne I hear you! I always put my hair in an English braid during the winter and so far it's been helping me not to have tangles.
@kristi-anneАй бұрын
That's such a smart idea. My hair has been going through it for the last few months. II was out of the country for 6 weeks and the water was super hard, and it caused SO MUCH of my hair to just snap off. I'm currently in the process of trying to nurse it back to health. I should start doing braids, too! Thanks for the suggestion!!
@sarahgee6690Ай бұрын
@@kristi-anne I find braids help out a lot during the winter months when I wear beanies and parkas. Where did you travel to? Water changes can be so hard on our hair. I'm having a lot of issues with hair shedding and having low iron. Like you I'm trying to improve it as much as possible but hair takes so long to see an actual difference.
@kristi-anneАй бұрын
Yes totally!! Even though it's wet here, my hair always dries out and becomes more fragile in the winter! We were in Europe, and I don't know if it's just the way water is treated in Europe, but my hair was literally like hay. SOOOO much of it broke off - all the density I'd gained with the changed I'd made was gone haha. And you're right, changes when it comes to hair is soooo slow to see a difference!
