It would seem logical , that both state and local DOT's would establish rules requiring paved , short roads on THEIR property for construction machinery to be loaded and UNloaded by lowbed haulers ! This would prevent traffic bottlenecks\blockages and provide safe areas for lowbed drivers to take care of business !!!

I got blocked in the job I hauled T2 to today, right at the entrance, a cement truck has to pour a big footing, held me up for about a 1/2 hour, go thing I always charge by the hour, no loss in revenue

Man Chris, that 490 loader looked like one big piece of equipment. I believe that is the biggest loader I have seen you haul, or at least it looked like it. I-74 & I-4, are you located around the Tampa area? Stay safe out there, my man.

We are down the road a bit in Auburndale we have moved a few 490s off camera, but yes, they are the biggest we have moved

Playing armchair mechanic but it would seem your leveler valve isn’t working right. Your lift axle should have taken weight off your drives but since it didn’t must be a leveler problem. Maybe crank up the air on your lift axle. Maybe it’s time to put some weld on ramps on they save time and they can handle some heavy weights.

Chris you better get a sheet and pillow on that bunk there's some Dot bear's writing tickets for not having them on there. I got warned for not having my bed made up years ago by one told him I had to move real quick and forgot to make it up he said that's the least of your problems if this is the log book you want me to look at it wasn't I was running 3 of them at the time and I gave him the wrong one but he was cool just gave me the bunk warning

Well folks that right there is how not to load a 490 Komatsu. Unless you want to tear your equipment up. Proper use of the rake boards on the trailer would be a great idea.

@chrisgabaldon6614 get 2 6×6 2ft long and lay in front of the ramp to take the pressure of of them when loading large machines like that. Always use the outrigger and 2×8 to have a better foot print on the trailer deck for stability. Trust me you can feel the difference. And further more put the king pin in the front hole on the neck of the trailer and slide fith wheel 2 slots behind front drive axle. The way a load like that will pull is the difference in night and day.

@@randywhelan8944 correct, 26 ft well, 114” swing clearance with 110,000 on the deck I see roughly 90 psi on drives and 70 on my pusher (8 axles total) The scale house woulda tore Chris up if he had gotten popped
