The way I play 2k ....is normal in a basketball sense....to most that is considered "trash" but i play the game the right way. I dont take 2k that serious to be the best on the court. I just wanna make a few good shots/passes when needed and hopefully win. Most games players quit 2mins in the game after waitin over 35mins to get a game or cant play defense and take terrible shots .

People are so lame on this game fr. I make builds based on how I like to play. There's no variety. The community is full of bots, they all follow one another and can't think for themselves. It's so annoying running into the same squads 99 3pt 99 reb and 99 steal locks. It's always the rebounder or lock opening their mouth with literal goose eggs all while their PG is 6-14. All 3s. It's so satisfying getting that dub because best believe you aren't spinning to get that rematch ✌🏿.

I've been a solo rec player since 2k19 and I have to admit, this game is by far the worst 2k I've experienced in the rec, especially at the PF. I can't say a lick of anything without kids crashing out in their feelings. The sbmm gets worse and worse every year as well. Why am I, as a 60%wr gold, walking in with 40%wr silver/bronze players playing against full purp-gold 5 man teams in proving grounds? Shh don't make sense to me 😔

2k24 I've played against players where legit cracked dribbles moves shooting, just NASTY.. in 2k25 I have yet to see that.. it just seems one team cant miss and gets everything in their favor and the other team cant get anything. Like nobody seems good at this game individually... maybe it's the lack of real control and the slow speed and lack of really good dribble moves and control..but I haven't seen a single truly dominant player yet..maybe a player who is just somewhat better than who's defending him..but nobody legit unguardable..

I think the algorithm doesn’t know how to build teams that compliment each other. I get put constantly with teammates who don’t share the same IQ and mindset as I do. It’s a lot of people who don’t care if they win or lose yet just want to do them

All facts, 2K momentum algorithm is way too damn strong now that we have less badges the momentum impacts the game too much. You can tell if you play Madden because it was nerfed heavily AND their home field advantage was removed

I had a shooting big A.I with a 87 3pt shot go 1-13 yesterday shooting all wide open because the other teams Center just sat paint. We still won barely but how does a shooting big AI go 1-13 all wide open?

You are right about the fact that rec players may not be the best. But there is nothing wrong with having a more chill mode. I ran 5 games of rec yesterday with a squad and 3 of the lineups we faced were sweaty 5 outs that shot above 50% from 3 in a game everybody dishonestly claims that it is impossible to shoot consistently... So honestly when you look at what is actually complaining about, had this video been uploaded in 2k20, I would've agreed with you, but even in 2k22 and beyond, if you went in with 5, you were getting a full 5. In 22 and 23, you had to go in with 4. I don't even think they have low ovr rec anymore and you are still making a near 20 minute vid complaining on an issue that has long been addressed

Ngl there’s nothing wrong with playing with a 5 in a rec but there is something wrong with playing 5s in rec running a zone and then on offense proceeding to watch two people play the game it’s not dat serious all tho i feel like u can run any offense u want fr fr but its the defense the zones be horrible I mean all u have is space the floor make 1 or 2 passes and the zone is beat I mean open shots every possession or put someone in the high post then the big man is in a two on one I’m rambling but it takes a somewat organized team to run a zone the problem with it is dat the other team in rec squads might not have coms to say this so they beat up on a lot of teams but the zone is always so bad dat it gets killed in pro am and they go 0-10 then instead of making adjustments they just totally give up it’s not the 5 people in the rec dats the problem its the corniness of the player base I personally have no problem cause I always have atleast 3 most times 5 and skill based matchmaking helps a ton and let me tell u we def are not running a zone and everybody def touches the ball and we win a decent amount we also play pro am a decent bit too before yall say im corny for playing a 5v5 game mode with my irl freinds 💀but I think the best thing is ,and its this simple if u have 2 in the rec u walk into a door dat says 2 needs 3 if u have 3 u go in ta door dats 3 dat needs 2 if its 4 u go into 4v4 squads and if u have 5 its squads then 1 will still be random rec they have a lazy effort by just doing squads and no squads but 2k is very lazy dats why there player base is declining rapidly
