@JeffSu11 ай бұрын
Did you end up trying the prompts? Curious to hear whether you default to ChatGPT (free or paid) or Google Bard? Haha thank you! I honestly REALLY like Teal's product and I genuinely wish something like that existed when I was in college...
@andrea_dong11 ай бұрын
Hey Jeff, I did actually! I usually default to ChatGPT (the free one, so only ver 3.5 right now) and I tried your prompt with "Give me an example of when you had to think on your feet." One thing I immediately noticed was that instead of giving one specific example, GPT basically just strung several different bullets from the different employers on my resume together. I added in "Please don't over-embellish and stick to my experience with one employer" after the line about keeping it under 260 words and was able to get GPT to get more specific after that. At one point, I also started getting a response that was split into the four different parts of CARL, so I asked GPT to also "make the output conversational and something that's possible to go over in a few minutes." I feel I was getting better responses after that :3

Love your channel and work, especially in the context of career advancement. Noticing your reference to the situational questions, interviewees and interviewers beware! In my experience, these are the worst questions to ask as any answer will also be highly hypothetical and has shown to be unreliable in results. Frankly, I don’t get why these questions are still asked when you can easily reframe them as behavioral questions. So what can you do as an interviewee? Start by saying “I don’t like to answer hypothetical questions as they may not reflect my true reaction. However, what you ask sounds similar to …. Here’s what I’ve done in this situation …” This shows self awareness, creativity and sets you apart from those trying to answer a question that will make no difference in getting hired. Alternatively, reframe the question by asking “if I understand you correctly, you’d like to know my approach to … is this problem something you’re facing here at XYZ corporation?” Then based on the answer you can point to your GENERAL approach of solving problems
