I was at the Manx GP in ‘81. The first time I went over. I was 24 y/o. I went to the Manx the following year. I’ve been 4 times since, the last for the 2007 centenery, sadly I had to fly over for that. I hope to take my RC30 over there soon, just to say I rode a legend around a legend!

@@pmacc3557 Definitely! It doesn't have the same feeling as the TT, it's less of a charged holiday atmosphere but it's ambience is just as good but calmer plus if you're into classic biles, they are EVERYWHERE!

@@johnnyrvf I'm currently upgrading my 1983 SR500. I'd love to bring it there and do a lap. I'm searching the gud old quiet days and old bikes and Wana hear them and smell them as they rocket by. I'd prefer if it's quieter, don't need a rat race for rooms etc. I'm planning we sleep in van

It's incredible to think that this was one of the few IOM TT's where all the participants lived.
