I have the city pro 24' and I'm a bit disappointed I can't ollie off a curb and land without it causing an E4 error to flash on my screen and also threatening the integrity of my 1800$ scooter. It should be able to do basic landings like that and obviously not 2-3+ stair steps but a simple curb? Of course.

I have saved him from an very uncomfortable situation had he ever attended the auditions on America's got talent and Simon Cowell had of been a judge. He would of torn poor Lil Seany a new one! Hope I gave ya'll at Apollo a laugh, that was my intention just a little good, clean fun 😀 It's ok Sean, pick yourself up and dust yourself off little buddy I am sure you'll recover. Perhaps take a Phantom, a City Pro or maybe a new PRO for a spin to build your confidence up again. I envy you that you can do that you lucky little bugger!

I would really like to see hydraulic vs non hydraulic. It wasn't clear to me when I bought the Apollo Phantom V2 how much of an upgrade that was. I would actually recommend you make that standard on all your scooters over 30mph. I'm upgrading my brakes and I'm kicking myself for spending 2x much to have them expert installed over taking the relatively modest upgrade. Braking and cornering videos as well please. How should you brake? Mostly regen? 75% back 25% forward. Idk love to hear from the pros. Brake slowly from a distance? How do you handle stop and go? Proper form and scooter behavior to avoid our toys from being outlawed?

Are you saying that hydraulic brakes are better? Certainly mechanically they are better at stopping but they are less safe because of it. Why cars have electronic ABS. Locking up brakes is a bad thing.

@@grantos8276 Read my comment again? It's pretty clear. Hydraulic brakes are overkill IMO for a scooter. Locking up your brakes is never a good thing when trying to brake in a safe and controlled manor.

@@grantos8276 That's nice honey. I've been on 2 wheels since I was a toddler racing bikes as a kid and got my motorcycle licence when I was 16. So I'm speaking from experience with knowledge. Since you think it's only a matter of skill. Overconfidence comes right before a trip to the ER.

@@Hal_Beep-Boop Less routine maintenance and more consistency in braking are my primary reasons. While slamming on them will cause you to skid, pulsing the brakes will not as well as shifting your weight to help. So I would say they are better

@@Tipchex I believe them to be compleytly unnecessary for a scooter as the performance increase is insignificant and the side effects are a more dangerous braking situation. On a scooter especially where the center of gravity is so high and braking is already more dangerous than a bike. Add to that that the increase in cost approximately 200$. I get why they are an option. People thinking they are getting the best of the best, an easy bolt on "upgrade." But not worth it IMO, more about bragging rights than anything. If you want to get them or have them, have at it. These are just my opinions, and why I opted for the mechanical brake model.

Any updates on when the Phantom can go in the rain (Vancouver here). I would love to be able to still take it to work when it’s raining and just simply put on the rain jacket. Is there something we can do to make it rain worthy? Thanks.

Hey Adrian! We're working to improve the water resistance rating on future launches of the Phantom. For any current units V2 and V1's the units have an IP54 water resistance rating, for this reason we would recommend to avoid riding in any wet conditions as water damages are not covered by your warranty!
