I freaking love this scooter just got here today it’s my first one and the kick right when you push down on the throttle. It’s a great fast but not scary fast, rides so smooth!! It looks beautiful too and the box was in good condition and smelt great opening fresh and new! It only took 5 days to get here and I live in California. Hey brother if you stem has a little play get a no 4 hex socket tool go right under the stem right above your front wheel and just tightened it up a little bit and get yourself a super clamp it will come with a shim and man you will see it will be just like a Cadillac have fun on your new ride stay safe 👍🙏

received my Ghost yesterday. Went on an introductory ride this morning. This thing is a tank and crazy fast. I only wish the acceleration was easier to control. It’s almost all or nothing. Super happy with my purchase so far.

The ghost is great! I highly recommend it. Very powerful, fast, smooth ride, and solid build. Would prefer higher-end hydraulic brakes but that’s just my preference. The brake-regen feature is nice as well.

Then you’d be paying hundreds of dollars more. And you’d then need to decide if you still want a ghost compared to all other 1800 to 2000 dollar duel motors. In other words, ghosts biggest strength (affordability/entry level performance scoot) is gone.

I've had my Ghost for about 2 weeks now and really enjoying the commute to work. Plenty of power for climbing hills etc. At 8:49 the shot shows a yellow triangle sticker that says "After long time riding, appear gap or shaking, pls lock first then adjust this 2screws.- Patented technology". Which two screws is this referring to?

Hi Apollo I have a quick question about my scooter. I need to tighten the one Allen bolt in the front under the steering tube right above the front tire. It's the only Allen bolt directly under the yellow sticker on the steering tube in the thumbnail for this video. It allows me to tighten about a quarter turn only but the it comes loose again causing a little play and movement from the wheel when I'm steering.

I am awaiting the arrival of my new ghost. I'm so excited 😆!! I started out scooting with a GoTrax . I had a very bad experience with it...ended having to go thru 3 batteries and it wasn't reliable. So I upgraded to the Segway Ninebot ES4. Absolutely loved it!! Plus I like the fact of having a riding app and sharing riding experiences. The ES4 is a great scooter....if you live on a flat terrain. Where I live I have a lot of hills and the ES4 dies right out going up hill and there isn't that much suspension. So, I started shopping for a faster, smoother riding scooter. I looked at probably 100 different kinds...and ended up ordering the Apollo Ghost. I chose Apollo because of all the reviews and thought this is exactly what I need. I LOVE riding scooters and can't WAIT to get my scooter. Great job Apollo.....you've won me over👏👏👏!! I will post more stuff when I get my scooter. I sure hope I'm not disappointed!!! By the way, is it true the scooter is made in China? Just curious.

@@ApolloScooters I received my ghost last night but I am unable to ride it. There is a screw missing from the ignition box so it is unable to be secured. The folding clip on the deck was installed crooked so the stem is unable to lock in place. The left had brake rubs and grinds as if it is metal on metal. Right hand brake smooth as expected. And finally, there is a small chunk of metal (potentially dinged in shipping) missing from the right hand side of the deck. I sent two emails with pictures and opened a support case. My wife's explore comes today and I am hoping for a better experience.

I have contacted the support team and am awaiting next steps. Based on this experience, I am really questioning QC at Apollo.

I ordered mine while it was on pre-order (2 weeks from my order date) and then 4 days later I gotta confirmation saying it was gonna be delivered within a weeks time. Hallelujah!! I don't think I ever been this excited for something I ordered. Probably cuz I don't own a car. Also, beings it's called the Ghost...I ended ordering 2 ghosts stickers (from Super Mario bros) to put them on the fenders. 😁 Can't wait to go crusin'!

Oh, and great scooter btw. It has a near ideal weight to power ratio. Any faster, they weigh too much for most people to toss around like a, uh, scooter I guess. Maybe one day manufactures will find a reliable way to swap out batteries the way larger power tools do, like an EGO style 56V electric lawn mower. That way it's practical to use a smallish 5.0 AH battery with a couple backups charged and ready to go.

I need to manually press the control panel to move from gear 1 to gear 2 to gear 3. Has anyone found how to change a setting so it defaults to gear 3 from the start? I know it's only a speed limit, not a mechanical gear, but pressing the button as I'm riding doesn't seem ideal.

@@LambsBlood33 I love it...i'm a bigger guy at 290 lbs. but i'm fairly agile and the ghost gets me along quite well. Top speed is in the low 30's with a fully charged battery which will drop off into the mid 20's as it drains down. The suspension leaves a little to be desired...compression is fine but on the rebound it will clunk a bit as it seems it could use some type or rubber stop. I purchased a thumb throttle and it my opinion it's a must have. The finger throttle that comes with it is very difficult to use as you need the same finger for the brake and it's awkward to say the least. This is my first electric scooter so I have nothing to compare it to. I ride mostly local streets and dirt roads. I have had it in some bumpy trails and it will get the job done but gravel paths and pavement is where it shines.

I received my Ghost today (Thanks Apollo Scooters for the super fast shipping!) and have an unboxing question. Inside the box was a small ziploc baggie with four (4) soft rubber caps and a headless screw. I figured out that the screw is for securing the volt meter in place but where do I install the four soft rubber caps?

i have my Ghost's tire pressure at 37.5 and it's very firm. Actually, it would be very hard to hand pump beyond this. in the video it states 50psi, it seems the tire would explodes at that psi. Any thoughts?

I had this problem today. My bike pump was not fully connected to the tube, it had not pushed the valve open and i was just pumping up the bicycle pump! I just had to push it on further before i locked it on. hopefully this helps!

I think I might do this as well. I've had another scooter with a thumb throttle and I really like it. It all comes down to personal preference and just go through the motions of each type of accelerator while standing on your scooter (not actually moving) to see which one feels more comfortable to you

Hi @hamzabaig8856, The voltage display is meant to show the voltage/battery level of your scooter. For the Ghost, 58.8V means that your scooter is fully charged :)

@@jimparsons8485 nah I figured it out, just had to tighten the lock nut. The ignition, throttle, brakes, are all just generic parts not made by Apollo. Pretty easy to replace that stuff.

The phantom has a slightly larger battery capacity and more watts for the motors. The Ghost is lighter and has folding handle bars. Also, the Phantom has proprietary control display

They still feel great the scooter is absolutely insane sometimes my tires lose traction if I take off fast it has power and a lot of speed and last a good amount of time for it’s battery size and pulls you up hills full speed it’s great

So, owners manual is terrible. As a writer, it was extremely painful to read. Left a LOT to be desired and unanswered questions: do I need to initiate start, like kick start? Does it have regen braking at all? The handle bar stick have a central “bumb” that makes it less easy to turn. (Is this normal)?
