You don't have to but when your engine only takes up 16-20+ cards. Why wouldn't you? Before hand traps those cards would be backrow that's outted by 1 of 4 different backrow wipe cards. Hand traps are fine when you get rid of the card that allows you to draw into all of them if your opponent plays the game

I’ve won a few duels off of chaining crossout to nibiru and they just scoop even if I don’t have nibiru in my deck lmao, so there’s that use case for it

I really hate that a great chunk of your deck is hand traps.. 3 ashes, 3 maxx C's and 2 called bys... that 8 of 40 gone already.. and they usually stack on Crossout and droll.. so anywhere from 8-12 that is gone. I hate this so much tbh.

Vanquish soul is a competent example. Exosister isnt amazing but its not bad either. Some would say floo but that's probably copium.

I dont know why competitive players ran nibiru as a Main Deck staple. The card is only good against low tier decks cause every single top tier Deck is designed to play around nibiru. I personally thinking to cut him even from the side Deck cause I can win against low tier decks without him anyway. I agree with you, nibiru is overrated.

I didn't want to put in not good because if you run a hand trap heavy build with 3 nibiru, 3 imperm, 3 ash and 3 veiler you have something like a 22% chance to draw nibiru+one of those other cards in opening hand which makes nibiru way better.
