I have problems with perfectionism, the overwhelm, and the lack of structure. I also get distracted very easily. Im trying to figure out how to make a Schedule and to do list and not be so anxious all the time. but because of things in my life, Its difficult. Tho, i know the reason why the walk pad helps you Concentrate! It gives you an outlet for extra energy, helping you relax so you can focus on what you are doing. Its how figet toys work and is why some people constantly click a pen or tap their leg when working at a desk.

that makes a ton of sense!

I appreciate your insights! You're absolutely right about the benefits of having an outlet for extra energy. Finding a way to manage perfectionism, overwhelm, and lack of structure can indeed be challenging, but taking small steps and experimenting with schedules and to-do lists is a great start. Thanks for sharing!

Appreciated this video. Yeah procrastination is my kryptonite. What gets me is I procrastinate a little bit and then when I get into the zone of getting work done something always happens that prolongs me getting into a productive state.. I live with family members so theres more distraction actions around me *sighs* constant battle. For example, today I had my set To Dos planned out, then all of that went out the window cause as soon as I woke up I had to tend to family stuff (not planned for today) that have to get done. But I'm learning to Just Do It when I I have the time, and not put things off. Cause other roadblockks will occur.

So glad this popped up on my feed! I need this reminder as the new week and new month start. I recently got into Anime (still can't believe it lol) and am watching a series called Demon Slayer (English voice-over version). In one episode, one of the slayers talked about how time will not patiently wait as you grieve, procrastinate, etc. because time waits for no one. Even if you feel scared, disappointed, or discouraged, keep going and "set your heart ablaze." That speech hit me, because just the other day, I said to myself "Whether I decide to do it or not, time will keep going." We can procrastinate out of fear, laziness, etc. all we want, but time will keep going. And then it really hit too when I came across a video about people in their 40s who feel like failures and I said to myself, I really don't want that to be mebut at the rate Im going, that could end up being me too. We have 4 months left to 2024, let's set our hearts ablaze!

It was a hack for me to list the task for tomorrow so I could get a good night sleep not to worry tomorrow and when I wake up, I am on autopilot with a checklist. All I need to do is breath and move my body without hesitating or second-guessing my actions. There was a study that I read about how time consuming it is to think what we need to do than actually doing it. It opened my mind and used this strategy. So far I am amazed that I have so much time in my hands with this hack :D This small habit helped me pass board exam

Yes come thru psychology major. Learning to enjoy the journey is my mindset. When it comes to youtube, I have the subscribers count but i don’t have the watch time, and i’m trying to give myself grace that my time will come when it’s my time. Time management skills i learned that when i planned out my weeks on Sundays the week went a little bit smoother opposed to me just going with the flow. I always say I wish I had a team, but I have to start with me, and the team will come. Side note: Look for plans to move to Texas to be Bria’s assistant lol. Hair and makeup is freaking awesome btw

I binged quite a few of your videos today. I just wanna say that a lot of things you discuss in your videos are things I have had to figure out for myself the fun way. It's refreshing to hear some of these things said in different ways than I've thought about them, as well as a bunch of the other things you have learned that I have never thought about. I really agree with your viewpoint on life and I have already managed to get some work done on a project that I've been feeling stuck on. Love your energy and your perspective on life. Thanks Bestie!

Ah and a "tip" for procrastination I got is more of a mindset change, but I stopped relying on what I'm in the mood for or not, and started doing what would be benefit tomorrow's me. (also great practice for being kind to yourself and building a better relationship with yourself :). I basically started thinking, would it benefit future Britt to do this now? Yes? Okay then let's go because she deserves that and I want to be kind to her!❤ Hope this helps someone :)

My big issue is ADHD. I've fought this since I was a kid. I won't have health insurance until 2024 so I can't get help for it yet. Right now I use a flourite on my wrist in the meantime and weirdly enough it sorta helps. But that is the underlying cause of my procrastination. I find literally a million other things my brain says it needs to do RIGHT NOW before I can do this other bigger task and sure the other stuff is done but the main thing never gets done. GGGAAAHHHHHHH

ATTENTION! This is off topic and far more important than anything you could ever hear. That is the calling out of God right now, thru the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus died for your sins! Not just so you can forget about him and live life being your own god, but he lived a sinless life, died a brutal death that you deserved bc of ur sin, and raised from the dead to give you eternal life! He gave you the right to become children of GOD, if only you accepted him! John chp 1! If your reading this it’s bc Gods calling out to you. His voice is subtle and gentle thru small things like this. He is not mad at you. He is rich in grace and mercy. All you have to do is repent and give him your YES! seek relationship with him!
