The constant hydraulic noise from the turret being moved by the gunner to observe is missing (former Leo 2A4 guy ;) ). But there is almost no radio chatter at least in the German army since radio discipline is written in capital letters and someone will rip you a new one if you do not obey that.

I learned to listen to the radio chatter and sounds of vehicles, and still manage to get some sleep. At the live-fire range or maneuver training events, the sounds of machine fires, or tank main guns were not enough to keep us awake. You got some down time, whenever and wherever you could. It could be days before your next opportunity. You could be dead asleep with your headset on one ear filtering out everything going on around you and over the radio, but as soon as you heard your callsign come over the net, you instantly woke up and answered the radio. "Slayer 8 actual, this is 6, over." "6 this 8, send it." And another night starts....

As a former Panzergrenadier/gunner of a mechanized heavy mortar unit I can say , yes it can get very cosy inside there. Like a pack of wolfes in their den. But I had a couple of moments where screams in that video interrupted my laid back temper.

If you want some realism, I suggest you just add the thunder. In real life, the sound of the engine and the thickness of the armor wouldn't let the rain noise through.... (Except if you let a latch open... Which my end up transforming your vehicle into some kind of fish tank(pun intended).
