No one can stop you, except you, and your fears, anxieties, worries and internal tensions. Not easy to overcome. Dreams die.

"You're Still Who You Were," and those who are not laugh at others taking away their vital, emotional energy bit by bit. The laughers are trying to make the meek just like them, and sometimes it works.

Absolutely loved this! I think this is something everyone goes through to some degree, even if their parents are supportive. I've seen too many enthusiastic and passionate kids being rejected or ridiculed by older kids/young adults/adults in general because they simply talk more about it than us grown-ups are used to, and then either shrinking away or lashing out in response. Let kids chase their dreams, and the world will be a much more exciting place to be:)

I'm a geezer and quite frankly, the more I geez, the more I think back to childhood and adolescence. Usually by fictional daydreaming based on an occurrence long ago but also sometimes of specific images and experiences from > half a century ago. And I can be judgemental about myself from long ago - both positively and negatively but too often with regret for not having acted differently. Watching this short film was healthy for me in evoking awareness that I was who I was and am who I am but that regretting stuff I can't do over doesn't help me and so would do well for myself to appreciate who I was in regards to that shaping who I am.

It’s a good 👍 short,it’s all about acceptation.and be who you wannabe.the acting 🎭 is good, especially the young boy who is speaking like a buckingham one.a little tribute to Charles dickens »Christmas carol »when the young boy is meeting his double coming from the future. I hope that we are still the same ,always reliving the days gone by .good work James,we still want to dream with u./Moses.

Thank you so so much Moses! The film was partly inspired when I went to see a stage show of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic theatre in London so I’m incredibly happy somebody picked up on it!! That version features a scene where Scrooge actually meets his younger self and is able to speak to him, but can’t find the words. It’s a really touching story and I thought the idea was worth exploring a bit further. Your review is so brilliant and makes me so happy so thank you!! The idea that my silly film can impact people from all around the world is still amazing to me. I’m already working on the next one, so stay tuned!! :)

0:11 I don't know what you call yourself -- a "producer" or "director"? But you need to improve your crew's acting skills. There's no way he actually drank from that can and swallowed anything. If you say he did, then you're a liar. I point this out because it is so damn obvious ... and at the very beginning ..... so it begs one to ask the question: What else was so fake in this clip?
