I have the reverse problem. I eat a lot and just cannot gain weight. I work out and it's very hard to build muscle, despite eating pretty much only protein.

Here’s the thing you may want to look into; the protein you’re consuming, is it lean protein? Because at that point it won’t look like you’re building muscle, at least on the surface. If you’re trying to gain but can’t, I’d recommend talking to a doctor.

@@anonymouspotato825 I didn't know there was such a thing as lean protein. I'll eat eggs for breakfast, chicken sandwitches for lunch, burgers for supper. Snacks in between, ice cream AND popcorn at night and I somehow lose weight when I sleep. It just doesn't make sense. Lol I've built some muscle, but not as much as I hoped for. I have two 25lb dumbells and I usually do 20 reps, take a break for 2 minutes, and do 20 more.

That’s fantastic man! Yea, there is such a difference. Some protein is meant for people who still want muscle but with a leaner body.

@@anonymouspotato825 I forgot to mention my weight. I'm 25 years old, 5'7, and I weight anywhere between 127 and 135. I'll be 135 and eat my heart out, and the next day I'll be 128. I just bounce back and forth. Haha I don't want to be super ripped, I just want to fill my shirt sleeves out better.
