This was a major part of my childhood. Spent a few weeks every summer at my aunt's house. It was there I was introduced to this amazing soundtrack. This and Saturday Night Fever's soundtrack introduced an amazing experience. My teen years was in the 80s and I gained a lot from that era. The mind-blowing experiences though started in the 70s. Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Sex Pistols, Slade, Roxy Music, Bee Gee's, Blondie, Kate Bush. OMG, so freaking many times of sheet awesome came from there. And I'm so amazingly thankful for each and every artist for such amazing songs. Songs to live a life by. And I did.

@@Squishyjellyfish lol what? Sandy didn’t just do it for Danny lmao, she realised all anyone saw in her was innocence. So she changed so everyone could see there was more too her. And it’s a sweet ending considering Danny also tried changing for her .

This movie came out 6 years before I was born. The spirit of the 50s was a great time of the 20th century for those who were actually born in the 50s.

I was in a rut in my 20's, this movie got me going, went to university, got a family and a life. Thanks.

Mijn allerliefste schat!

Wow wow wow the greatest days ever! Seems like only yesterday. How is it that you can be 60 and I'm my mind I was at the theater every weekend watching this movie over and over. I loved it then and now The 70's were the absolute best!

I remember in early 2000s, working in bars and clubs, and every now and then the music would change totally and play Grease Lightning. EVERYONE would start singing along and doing the moves, no matter what! It would make everyone join together like a real life musical, and then the song would end, and music would go back to the latest hits, and people keep doing whatever they were doing before. But those few minutes were so fun! All the staff, bouncers, barstaff, clientele, everyone was grinning and having fun together. It was never planned, just came on once in a blue moon, and no one had to be told, we just loved it. This is from people who were born decades after the movie came out. That's a classic!!
