Loudermilk isn't a character. . . It's a state of mind.

I live alone; my kids come round every few days, or I go to them... Anyway, the point is that I've told them that they aren't to get mad at my cat if he eats my face because that's what cats (and dogs, but maybe a day longer) do.

That's creepy to be honest 😄

@@LungteNangram I just don't want my cat suffering for what is natural to it. It's usually about 3 days without food anyway before you start looking good enough to eat :D

@@TukikoTroy I think you've given this way too much thought. Bottomline, whatever condition you will be found in is only distressing to the people who find you. You, on the other hand, are way past caring.
@TukikoTroy11 ай бұрын
@@shelbynamels7948 I totally agree with you, but the point of the OP was that any distress they may feel shouldn't be taken out on the cat because the cat was only doing what is natural to him.

I'm 69 and have never had to deal with having a roommate. I'd rather live in a really really really cheap place on my own and live in a nicer place with a roommate. But then, I really value personal freedom. It also hints at why even though I've owned homes I've never owned a home which was attached to an HOA. You give up sovereign ownership of your property when you become a member of an HOA.

I have the same thinking.. it is not good. It does not feel right. My peace and personal freedom is more important. I once moved to a cul-de-sac, very closely built houses and some flats - lots of them and people can see who is in and out and even notice your mood, what you buy etc. And it feels so claustrophobic.. I cannot believe.

Roommates can be fun early on in your adult life. The roommates I had right after moving out, from 18-23, were all awesome people. We had such great times, house parties and other social gatherings. Never had to live with a pig, either. As you might imagine, things could get a little messy when you have three early 20s guys living with each other. However, everyone always stepped up when it mattered.

What's a HOA?
@ReasonablySane11 ай бұрын
@@madam-mim homeowners association. They control your property to the point where no longer feels like your own. They can tell you what you can't park in your driveway, what color to paint your house, how long your grass can be cut, etc. And it's not cheap.
