As a health inspector: dishes need to air dry, and they should dry on a drainboard and not a cloth towel (it's as bad as the sponge, Link!) If you're sorting your utensils, you can create "nesting" Mostly spoons. They'll fit together, which can rrsult in them not being cleaned properly. It's like stacking two bowls on top of each other

I try to get a good mix in each compartment so they don't merge and end up causing me more washing up. It's bad enough some of our plates are too big and catch on the spinning thing unless you put them in a very particular position, I don't like doing a job twice!
