What I found strange is that Walker looked so obviously guilty when Shirley walked in but it did not seem to get noticed. I mean, the only time people drink is when they've done something awful in this show so it should have been a dead giveaway. It was so out of character for Walker.
@geekademy16 күн бұрын
Shirley in a million years would never suspect Walker even if she would walk in on her making out with Bernard

The way I justify the amount of time I spend thinking about Silo and Severance is that a good real-life-related analysis of these stories helps me understand the world I live in better. To see it from another perspective and so sharpen my critical thinking skills. This channel does that!

things you would miss if you didn't watch the episode. 1. the fact that there are at least 3 kids in Silo 17. 2. they are armed and have armor and use guerilla tactics and ambush techniques. so this isn't their first fight. these kids have been fighting their entire lives it seems. 3. these kids have a history with Solo. 4. Jules has a new injury, she took an arrow in the shoulder. 5. Lukas finds new clues to help decode the message after a partial translation leads him to more clues. 6. we find out the truth about Quinn and who actually burned the books and destroyed the records and used memory altering drug on the people to make them forget. 7. Walker's "betrayal" 8. Which sets up Walker and her radio being on. 9. Sims and his replacement have a secret meeting and compare notes. 10.a team from mechanical are captured attempting to raid supplies. 11. Billings shows his wife the picture from the book with the outside before the war. reveals his doubt about Bernard.

Best of luck going full time! I finally took the plunge and quit my job to go full time with my “side hustle”, and it was the best decision I ever made. Nothing beats successfully and happily monetizing your passion! Also, I really like your content. You actually delve in and try to explain things, there are way too many channels similar to yours that will call a video a review or a deep dive, but when you finally watch it it’s literally just an AI recap. Every. time.

This whole season can fit in five well directet episodes. There is soooo much you can trim or completely omit and the story would not change. We got new information, sure we did, but it was too little too far apart. Juliette getting the suit and fixing the pump could have been either shown together or one could have been omitted. We already had Solo kind of blackmailing her when he was inside the silo and in posession of food she needed. The first underwater scene was cool and thrilling but next one,even though exciting was just more of the same. Still like the show but I also see the flaws.

“A filler episode” is a bit of an understatement. Juliette’s entire storyline this episode consisted of: -Juliette gets the bends -Juliette gets rid of the bends It’s like they can’t figure anything worthwhile to have her do before she returns to the silo and while the conflict inside of it boils over.

Now that the other's in Silo 17 have been revealed my theory that they might be a retrieval team from a hypothetical "prime silo" to safe guard the Legacy has kinda gone out the window. Presumably during the exodus there would have been some hold outs in places safe enough or deep enough to survive the door being opened, the hidden judicial security room, springs to mind. The down deep was flooded but there would still be shut ins like Walker that would have had a chance of surviving too.

The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. How did they get the code??? Someone got to see a copy of the script.

Bernard and maintenance observe the silo. With the secret computer system, it makes sense there's a "Higher power" observing Bernard. Seems to me that Bernard is being coursed the same way Bernard Coerses Walker and others. In any case this is where my wondering what Bernards' real motives are, has led me.

I think they've dropped a lot of subtle hints at the silos being controlled by an outside group. For example, Solo is surprised that Juliet has access to Romeo and Juliet book (although she didn't). I think this implies that silo 17 also had books banned, possibly at the same time Salvador Quinn executed his plan in silo 18. Could this be some larger directive across multiple silos from a controlling group?

Don't be so sure people are smart enough to work out the code. I'd say they're book readers who already know the answers. No way they figured it out from what was in the show

There are different types of love however...some love is selfish. What I mean is that Joel, for example, in The Last of Us, loved Ellie so much he could not let her go - EVEN though that is what she would have wanted if it would save the world. But take Rick Grimes. He got to the point where he could honor his son Carl's wishes above a desire for revenge. Carl wanted him to spare Neagan. Thats what he did. He rose above a selfish love to an altruistic, pure love. I think the former is what makes humans dangerous. I'm not saying I disagree with Joel. I would have done the same thing in his shoes in my past. Now, I THINK I would honor what Ellie wanted and save the world. But I don't know for sure. I definitely think that Juliette's name and the Romeo and Juliette comments about forbidden love coming up mean that love and attachment might come into play. Its got to be a happy medium...we can't survive without love. But we also need to find a way to love in a way that isn't selfish.

Calamitous levels of wheel-spinning in Silo 17. Walker getting the Michael treatment from Lost, reduced to running around shouting about her significant other. Really rooting for the show, but this episode tried my patience. Feels like they are stretching out 1/3 of a season's material.

Get well soon Igor. Shirley was on my nerves too and yet she is a good person. Politics is crazy however you look. My country's prime minister, Trudeau, is stepping down. That will bring a lot of changes. But I hope for the better. Bernard knows something that we are not told yet, and that's why he is truly fighting to save the Silo.
