See, I don't understand this stupid talk here. If katie wasn't Fighting at the best of her ability or at a 100%. Why would she even be in the ring? That makes absolutely no sense to me. Why would you not be make sure you are on top of your game? Before you get into the ring. This is Just a Bunch Of BS if she doesn't fight better than she did in the last fight. She's gonna lose again so I don't want to hear another excuse that she wasn't fighting to the best of her ability or she wasn't at a 100% or like I said before she shouldn't go into the ring.

Very plausible that people fight whilst hampered with injuries or had injuries in camp that really held them back. Why would you fight below 100%? Money.

Yeah but at the end of the day this is a sport and it shouldn't always be about money it should be about Legacy when she finishes her career nobody is going to care about how much money she made they're going to look back on her losses and wins she should have never gotten the ring if she wasn't a hundred percent prepared

@donwilson350 Katie already goes down as possibly the greatest female boxer ever based on her amateur and pro exploits. For her it's about securing the bag. Really as simple as that, if she pulled out of the first fight she'd be criticised. So she did what she felt was right. She also made no excuses after the fight. Still hasn't. Her trainer just gave his opinion on her performance and health.

However the OP is making it out that there is no plausible reason someone would get in the ring when injured, that it makes no sense, when there are very plausible reasons why a fighter would fight compromised. You just missed the wider point.

This is a good fight but I agree, since he’s gone more global, a lot of good British fighters have been put on the back burner and we’re not getting the big british fight nights anymore, and I don’t mean the big mega fights, I mean the regular Saturday night fight night when it was all British fighters on the up. I’d like to care about the all the foreign shore shows, but I just don’t. I know Sky Sports and Warren are still putting on shows but they’re just crap compared to what Matchroom did in the last decade. It really did reignite boxing again in Britain and created a buzz again. I feel like there’s names that we won’t here about name but would’ve been given a chance back then to build a profile. Now it’s just crap and with social media age, it’s just who can build more of a profile before they get signed and it’s all bought for bullshit.
