Gengar is Ghost/Poison and Giratina is Ghost/Dragon, no Dark typing in both though they can learn Dark type moves by level up. Giratina would be better overall though then Gengar since it can tank moves better.

As the Adventure ensues Mr. Fruit encounters the Greatest Pokemon to ever EXIST. (My Absolute Favorite pokemon of all time) He asks the Army of Fruitkateers if he should place it on his team and the comment section with an astounding bellow says YES! Because it's the greatest pokemon to ever live. The Ghost Pokemon to end All Ghost Pokemon. The Tank you need on your team AND it only has 4 weaknesses. As well as learning great Earth and Rock moves by the time it hits your level (it learns Shadow Force at Level 46)

Giratina will be better in the long run fruit. Tankier and has pressure but still can learn all kinds of sick moves. You would still have a ghost type since Ghost / Dragon. You can never go wrong with any of the dragon legendaries in my opinion.

Tylor Hepner From a competitive standpoint, gengar is much more reliable. He's a common sweeper pokemon relying on no setup, meanwhile Giratina is a tank, it could get tankbusted etc, making it not as reliable as gengar. Gengar is usually considered better.

Manic Eraser Cat That doesn't make any sense. The typing just means they get 1 extra stab bonus, and dragon is a bad offensive typing. Also, I'm pretty sure gengar has more sp ark then Giratina has atk, don't quote me on that, but the trade off is that giratina is more bulky but gengar is faster, and currently speed is valued over bulk in the metagame

I always love Fruit's reactions when he catches a beast of a pokemon. I personally don't like the idea of this because we've been through so much together with Prism and Nimbus and are attached to them, but since Giritina is both a ghost and dragon type, maybe it should replace Prism and Nimbus. Then you could have a sixth slot open for a type you don't have, such as psychic, ground, rock, etc.

Hey Fruit! Tip for you, when you're questioning if pokemon can flee (via roar, teleport etc), you can check them out on serebii, and look at their current level. The moveset they have will be the 4 highest level moves (up to their current level) so for example, a level 16 Alakazam would have Confusion, Kinesis, and Teleport. And a level 22 Alakazam would have Miracle Eye, Disable, Confusion, and Kinesis. Hope this helps in the future, love the content!

Replace nimbus with otteson, Im using their names instead of their actual names to avoid spoilers. Then replace sceptile with Venusaur. This way you'll continue to have a Pokémon that'll help you catch Pokémon. Otteson is just a sick Pokémon. Definitely one of my favorites growing up. It'll also help with your weakness against physic type attacks. And to top it off you'll have a counter in otteson

Fruit! Just wanted to say that you're using Nimbus a bit wrong. You're always using his dark type moves against psychic types which is fine since it's super effective, but ghost is super effective against psychic as well. So you're better off using stab shadow punch. You've been making this mistake quite a few times so I'm hoping you're seeing this so you can make your odds of successing in this nuzlocke just a bit higher :) Anyways, I'm loving the series so please don't stop! This is the reason why I actually look forward to Mondays in the weekend P.s Nimbus doesn't evolve into Gengar by levels. He is one of those mons that you need to trade in order to evolve.
