Just bought a 2.0 TS Lusso and this video helped convince me to buy it

Had both, multiple times ... V6 for open roads and a Twinnie for B roads...oh and the spider absolutely needs to be a 2.0 preferably in Zoe yellow!

I almost bought a low mileage Zoe yellow TS spider a few years ago, but didn’t quite have the budget for it back then… Instead I bought a far-too-cheap blue GTV, the coolant boiled over at the top of a mountain on the way to see ZZ Top!

I got the year 2000 blue 1.8 twin spark with the fiber cloth interior, I like it a lot but I've found a whole black leather package for a nice price, I'm 50/50 on this

The leather Momo seats (from the phase 2 onwards) are very nice, I found them to be very comfortable. I don’t have any experience with the cloth seats but it sounds like a decent upgrade if the price isn’t too high 👍

I like the look of this. I need to check what the insurance is like though.

Do all GTVs and Spiders have a galvanised chassis? I couldn't quite understand your comments about that on the video and would definitely prefer to have one of the galvanised ones. I had a few Alfas in the '80s and '90s including Alfetta GTV6 and I hope to return to Alfas again, I miss that Alfa brio!

I believe the GTVs and same-generation spiders did. I can personally confirm that the 156 did not 😂 I’d love an old GTV6 one day, but the prices have really shot up lately 😬

Lovely car good condition I thought you might have kept it..

I was very tempted to keep it I must say!

Hi. Long shot as I can see the video was posted a few months back but wondered if the cars been sold or still available? Thanks
@TittertonRacing Жыл бұрын
Hi - it was sold, but I think the chap who bought it might have had to reluctantly part with it, so it might be available… not sure where it’s advertised though
@benfearnhead9851 Жыл бұрын
@@TittertonRacing no problem thanks for the response. Glad you got it sold fairly soon. Lovely car.

Looks nice condition, did you sell it? My GTV power aerial still works!
@TittertonRacing Жыл бұрын
I did, and I found the right buyer who’ll appreciate it properly! Seems there aren’t many left with working power aerials!

@@TittertonRacing That's good, looked a really nice one from your video. How much did you sell it for an on where. I've decided after over a decade I'm going to sell mine now, so some pointers would be appreciated. Mines a bit older, 1999 phase 2 model on T plate but in Alfa Red.

Hi Alex. Could you tell me how tall are you? I'm planning to buy one of these, but I'm worried about touching the top with my head. I'm 6ft 2in. Thanks.
@TittertonRacing4 ай бұрын
Hi -- I'm 6'3" and didn't hit the roof, so you'll be fine -- though I did need to lean forward to see when the traffic lights turned green! Avoid GTVs with a sunroof, as these have less headroom. Cheers!

The stainless exhaust is that in replacement with the mid pipe?
@TittertonRacing Жыл бұрын
I think it was - don’t think it was stainless up to the manifold, but certainly the mid and rear sections were. My previous GTV (much worse example) had the Alfaholics exhaust on, but that was about the only good thing about that car!

Very prone to rust - buyers beware!
@TittertonRacing2 ай бұрын
The GTVs weren’t as bad actually, they galvanised the chassis when they built them. The 156 on the other hand, they really rust…
