I grabbed myself a referb S7+ on auction for $250(can). I haven't had a tablet in probably 7 years, with my Tab3...almost ancient. I wanted to be able to edit photos more efficiently on the go, now that I'm getting more into photography with my Canon R7 and my wildlife setup with the Sigma 150-600 C. It's multi-media and gaming functions are nice additional feature. And I would love to be able to use it at work to place my orders rather than use my client's 13" MacBook Air.

umm,i havent yet bought a tablet in my life but with my lapop's battery life sucking i need something new for playing games (demanding ones might i add, genshin , pgr and the lot) . the s9+ after the discounts offered here in India is gonna cost me roughly 80k (with a cover and sd card (256gb)) . which is around 980$ i think. and ofc i am inclined towards the extra performance offered by the sd 8 gen 2 chip over the sd865 i have on my phone. will the s9+ be a good choice?

I agree with this strategy when needing/getting a new device: phone or tablet or laptop - it all applies... even when you are getting the car! The newest and the latest is not always the best choice, technically, operationally but also financially I literally did this with my cars few times already, and with my computers and phones - I get what I need the device to do for me. In no way was I able to justify S9 over S8+ ... I liked how ligth it is, how good spec it is for under $600... S9+ was still way too much for my liking - but offered not really a lot in exchange for a few hundred dollars more :)

@@silverpro8356 I'm really loving it so far . The display and the speakers are absolutely phenomenal. Everything feels smooth and snappy . Writing with spen feels really good and a bit better compared to s8 . Games run smoothly. The size makes it great for media consumption but it is a bit cramped if you want to take notes while watching lecture or KZbin with split screen.

As long as you don’t want to do anything demanding on your device like gaming or production, it doesn’t really matter which one you get. However, the differences between the regular 8 Gen 1 and the 8 Gen 2 with the heavily improved cooling system are huge. I skipped the Tab 8 series because of the CPU but this year we finally got a really good processor, for the first time since the snapdragon 865, so it’s really worth to go with the new one for me.

@@PranjalJain123 I would say go with the best value Galaxy Tab from the 8 series if note taking and reading are really your only priority tasks on the device. None of these things take any CPU power. I recommend Samsung because with the Tab S8 and S9 series you get the S Pen for free included in the box which comes handy for note taking. You should decide which size suits your needs properly for these tasks.

I'm so glad for this video, it made my day well basically night in india. I've bought the s8+ all new for $681/INR 57k, might not be the best deal but still a good deal, I've saved $173/INR 14khich was really quite a lot of my budget but i was going to buy s9+, suprising just saw s8+ back in stock and grabbed it. For notetaking, amoled experience, classes and office productivity, s8+ will do just fine. I knew I'm missing rare feature of Ip68 which i wanted Better battery due to optimized software ( 1-3 hrs extra ) but not deal changer Gen 2 might be the best ever, but for my usage I'll probably never notice it. I'm happy about it. Thankyou!!!

Guys I have the tab S8 plus and whatever reason just get the tab s9 series Cus the former chip is 8 gen 1 which is known for overheating and poor battery unlike the 8 gen 2 of tab s9 My tablet now has poor battery life and S9 is smaller with no compromise unlike S8 So just get the S9 despite the extra cost

Nah! Dell G15 would have plenty of battery to go mobile! About approximately 24k mah! Carry that mobile laptop within a case! Dell has a good deal on their site under $900. Better lifespan than SG 8+ Tablet for your bucks. Below $100 would last only 2-3 Years.

I mean most of the video calls on any tab are done in landscape mode anyways so it makes sense the position of cameras. If anything it helps coz it makes call look natural since im not looking wierd space on left or right instead more towards the screen in landscape.

You should not buy android tablets for a reason that there is not much of productivity apps as in apple ecosystem. Tablet will end up being used only for media consumption which can be done even on cheaper tablets

You are SO WRONG. Tab S9-series is just WAY better, faster, not much more expensive, WAY BRIGHTER, with better battery, processing power, bigger and faster memory, way faster and battery efficient disc. There's literally nothing better or at least comparable in S8-series.
