“Fake it ‘til you make it”. The idea that you should pretend to be something you’re not until you are. The more you think about it, this phrase sounds deceiving, manipulative, and dishonest. Anyone who fakes who they are isn’t someone to be trusted, BUT in your case I definitely think you should fake it ‘til you make it. It’ll make sense… trust me.

What do you suggest to someone who has an almost insurmountable obstacle stopping you from being that person you want to be? To use your analogy, if someone wants abs, but they have an eating disorder that inhibits them from working out? That's something I struggle with when it comes to my mindset
